This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. I got my name because my foster mom thinks the polka dots on my back are pretty cool!  I am an adventurous kitty, and I am growing even more in personality every day!  I didn't like being held when I was little, but I've been more fond of it lately.  I am very playful and love my toys!  I have super cool eyes but they are pretty sensitive because I get really squinty if you turn the lights on too fast in the morning.  My foster mom thinks it's adorable because I act like a teenager trying to get up for school in the morning.  I am very curious and I will sit and watch as you clean my litterbox or get my food ready.  As you can see from my pictures, I've been known to explore a dishwasher if you don't close it quickly enough!  I really love my mama (Debby) and my sister (Zelda) so I included a pic of us hanging out in the hopes that you may adopt us together!  I've been training a little bit with a harness and I love to go around the neighborhood in a kitty stroller with the fam!  I like kids if they don't make too many loud noises, but I've gotten used to vacuums and household noises.  I can also be happy if you pair me up with a different kitty outside of my family, but be patient with me because I hiss with new kitties until I figure out that they won't eat me.  And if I somehow end up alone, I can just perfect my tail chasing races.  I'm getting pretty good already!  If you really want to splurge, I also love running on the oversized exercise wheel and if you train me more on it I will entertain you for hours!   If you are interested in adopting Polka, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. I am possibly the most easy going cat you will ever find! I have successfully raised many children and now I'm looking to retire into a vacation home.  My name comes from the Hurricane I barely escaped with my babies!  For exercise, I like to perform acrobatics with sparkle balls and small toys.  I also enjoy kickboxing with kicker toys.  For snuggles, I will allow you to carry me around upside down, curled into a little ball, or in a sling bag! Cali is the sweetest cuddle bug she is 7 years old and we have had her since she was about 5months. She was found on the side of the road abandoned. She is spayed but still has her claws I usually clip them and she lets me. She has never destroyed any furniture or anything with them so I let her keep them. She loves to be pampered and loved. Cali is great with kids we are rehoming her due to having twins in May and working FT with 3kids under 3 I don’t have time to devote to her like she needs and she has become a little depressed and withdrawn. She NEEDS affection and attention!! Cali is a lover!!! I just want to find her a home that will love her like I do! I hate having to rehome her but it’s best for her!!! Cali loves to play fetch with hair ties, cuddle. I switched her to the pellet system for the litter and she loves it! She hates fishy stuff only chicken and beef for this girl! She is precious and beautiful!

This is our 2 year old female tabby cat named “Luna” She is a bit shy and anxious at first but once she warms up to her new home and owners all she wants is to be around asking for head rubs. She surprisingly knows how to play fetch with her favorite jibblet toy, very talkative, very energetic at times, and really a chill cat. She is a very clean cat and smart cat that will listen if told no if she’s on top of something that she is not supposed to be or anything of that matter. Fully potty trained and always goes to her litter dome no problem. She is fully up to date on her vaccines, has been chipped, and has been neutered, we can provide the documentation. This is the hard part, Luna has recently become aggressive towards our small dog which she grew up with so that part still confuses me, but Luna has not been able to get acclimated with our small dog being around after weeks of us trying so we are making to hard decision of looking for a new loving home for Luna.

We adopted our pet about a month ago from the Wake County SPCA. Chloe's about five years old according to our vet, and she has had kittens before. We are struggling with the cat not consistently using the litterbox, and did not know this to be an issue when we adopted her.

Mango was found in a box abandoned in a park. We had never had a cat before so we were not sure what to expect but we knew we could not leave him there. We could not have imagined finding such a sweet boy. He is so loving and playful yet gentle. He loves both adults & kids and even played with our family dogs. He loves to give and receive kisses and snuggles. He is the complete opposite of what I thought a cat was. I’m so incredibly sad we cannot keep him. My son is allergic to cats. We kept him for the time being knowing it would be temporary, but with the seasons changing or whatever other factors may be contributing, my son’s allergies have become almost unbearable. We upped his meds and although it does help some, this is not a permanent solution. We are looking for a loving home. Someone to give him the undivided time and attention he needs and deserves. I forgot to add, he’s a big baby. He loves to cuddle and be held and pet.
