Meet these 3 sweet sisters! Talk about kittens that love to play but also enjoy our time leisurely lounging around cat trees. Some of our favorite toys are toy mice and balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and don't forget the laser pointer. We love all the kitty treats, push up treats, brushing, and catnip our foster gives us. We really are love bugs. We really want to be adopted with one of our siblings. We are too cute and quickly warm up with food, play and lots of pets and love. Meet our to cutie pie Tivali, a precious little girl who was living with her stray mom and siblingsl as a stray family and found by a good Samaritan. Luckily they were turned over to Critter Cavalry for foster care and socializing. Tivali and her siblings have been in foster care since the first week of November and she is getting plenty of affection and love Feral when she first arrived, she was very frightened of everything especially the humans. We believe this litter was born around the first of August and currently this little girl as of 11/15 weighs 3.4 pounds. It has not taken long for lots of the fear and the feral actions of the whole litter has now turned to sweetness and the desire to be held and loved. Lots of purring is going on when the foster mom is around. She still gets nervous on occasion when approached by her foster, but she rarely runs away. Life on the streets can be hard for a cat and very scary for little kittens. She is still afraid of loud unexpected noises but grows more confident each day. Tivali is a Tabico which is a combination of calico and tabby. She has pretty tabby stripes overlaying some of her calico coloring. She is the smallest of the litter and although playful, she sometimes prefers to hang out by herself. She enjoys playing with her siblings and is learning all about 'the good life', off the street. Given time with her new family, she will continue to grow confident and lose the fears that were necessary to keep her alive while living as a stray. Gingersnap came to us with a very common and heartbreaking sad situation as a stray that landed in a kill shelter in Tennessee. This beautiful girl was so terrified and despite that the shelter staff knew she had a sweet spirit about her. The shelter could have adopted her out because she is FIV positive. Her way out alive was if she was to leave with a reputable rescue that knew how to place cats like her. She is very healthy and we have learned so much about cats living long and wonderful lives even with the FIV diagnosis. She does not care for other cats and that is fine she cannot be around cats unless they are also FIV positive. I'm sure she could adjust with another cat but she tends to just run away from them and she hisses and growls at dogs. She would be a wonderful cat for a quiet home with a retired couple or empty nesters who have had all the young children fly the nest. We do suggest a quiet home with no dogs she loves to sleep in her little Kitty bed and enjoys a simple existence where she can receive human love and attention.
