Story
Meet sweet Rosie 💕 Rosie is an absolute doll who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. She is so incredibly gentle and sweet. She looks at you with her great big eyes and give a tiny little meow for attention. Once volunteers start petting her they have a very hard time leaving as she guilts you again with those great big eyes. Rosie came to our shelter as a stray in very rough condition. She was incredibly matted, and had ear, skin, and urinary infections. We aren’t sure if her condition was from living outside or poor care while inside a home. Rosie was recently had surgery for a bladder stone and will need to stay on a prescription diet to ward off any further stones. We believe Rosie to be a munchkin mix as she has very short widdle legs Rosie needs a nice quiet home where she can enjoy an amazing and loved life she so deserves. She would do best in a home where she can have a short walk to her necessities as her widdle legs have developed arthritis. Rosie is estimated in her senior years and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv, and microchipped. Interested in meeting Rosie or any of our other kitties please contact us at cats@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or 610-432-2532 ext 6

Story
My name is Lady Sushi and I am a beautiful Calico girl who is about 7 months old and I'm looking for a wonderful home. Being a little older as a kitten means that I have gotten all the crazy kitten antics out of my system.  I am ready to become the elegant Calico lady that God created me to become.  I have a sister Dot who is beautiful too, just in case you might be looking for a pair of really pretty girls to adopt.  We don’t need to go together, but it would be nice.If you are looking for a beautiful cat or two please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Meet Wendy! Wendy was living on the streets and pregnant with her second litter of kittens when a very kind hearted lady (my sister in law’s aunt) brought her in to her home so she could give birth in a comfortable environment! She fostered the babies for weeks until they were finally ready to find homes. Wendy is so sweet. You would think she was someone’s cat if you didn’t know her history! She seems to do well with other cats. She has not been dog tested yet but can be. She is great with kids! The purring can be heard from across the room. This sweet girl is so grateful not to have to live another winter out there! She is about 2 years old. Fiv/felv negative, utd on shots, spayed and microchipped. She is just such a great cat!

Story
Mouse is a calico female that is a little over two years old. She was found in the parking lot of a Walmart and after extensively searching for her owners, we decided to take her in after we could not find them. She is house-trained and has a lot of energy and a place where she can run around and climb. Although she has never fully been around other animals, her fur immediately poofs up and is removed from the situation in case she attacks. We are unsure of how long she was on the streets. She does let her boundaries be known, which is why I believe an experienced adopter would be a better fit for her. Mouse loves wands and springs the most, along with scratch pads and cat nip toys. It is best if you let her come to you because she becomes overstimulated easily. Mouse usually only lets you pet her head and becomes defensive when you touch her back or belly. She likes to gently play fight but will let you know when it becomes too much.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update: Croissant (on the top) has come a long way since entering her current foster home! This beautiful, longhair kitty now spends a great deal of her time inside the foster building, rather than hiding outside in a dog house in the enclosed yard. She is right there inside at mealtime waiting to be served and allows her foster Mom to get much closer to her than ever before. She is not pettable and may never be, but is much more comfortable now within a reasonable proximity to people. She and her long-term companion, Leila, remain closely bonded and will do well in a quiet, traffic-safe barn home with a caring adopter.Original Post:Croissant is a very pretty and very shy kitty.  She and her buddy, Leila, have been together for a long time and must be adopted as a pair. Croissant has no interest in human interaction and needs a quiet and traffic-safe barn in which to live and find happiness!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Story
Robin is a four-year-old tabby girl who was surrendered by her owners when she was one. It has taken Robin a little while to relax and warm up, but she is a sweet girl and is starting to become more affectionate. She likes being petted but not held. She gets along well with most of the other foster cats and has even started making a few friends. She wouldn't mind being an only cat though. We don't know whether she gets along with dogs. She would probably be fine in a home with children. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormer/flea treated, and microchipped.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved. Story
Miss Molly is a sweet and sassy girl who craves attention, being petted and cuddling on her foster mom's lap. She can be sassy and may swat or nip when she is startled or overstimulated, such as when you move too quickly when petting her or she's on your lap. It's important to read her signals. For this reason, she would do best in a calm household without young children.  She is very playful and funny, always a real character. She is a big, beautiful tabby (stripes) and we joke that she must be part-owl, part-raccoon (see pictures)! She has been fostered with other adult cats and older kittens. She adjusts fairly quickly and can cohabitate in the foster room peacefully for the most part. She usually minds her own business, but will swat if the others invade her space. She doesn't go after the others to start trouble, though.  She has not been around dogs, but will be introduced to the sweet Great Dane in her foster home soon. Molly's background is that she is a young, retired mama. In 2023, a kind homeowner found her outside and realized she was pregnant. The finder brought her inside, where Molly gave birth to 6 healthy kittens. The kittens have since been adopted, while Miss Molly still waits for a home of her own. The finder fostered her for about a year, where Molly got along with the resident cat and warmed up to the lady. Molly has been in her current foster home since late September 2024 and has warmed up nicely. She comes over to be petted and will purr. She is a lap cat, climbing up onto her foster mom's lap to be petted and she'll purr and make biscuits or fall asleep. She has the cutest little meow and loves to be brushed. She loves to relax and look out the window. She is also playful and fun.  She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormer/flea treated, and microchipped. Check out her full profile with MORE PICS and VIDEOS including an adorable compilation here:https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=19686015.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
