Story
Monkey, a 13-year-old front-declawed calico kitty, is super sweet and affectionate. Her dad passed away a few months ago and she's in need of a new home now. She would like a home where she gets a lot of attention and love, as her dad was a retired gentleman and doted on her all her life. She sure misses him. Nosey, a younger sister to Monkey, is a 5-year-old, female spayed grey tabby. She's also affectionate and loving and gets along famously with Monkey. They can be adopted into separate homes; however, Nosey does not like any other cats but Monkey, so Nosey will need to be in a single-cat household if these two are separated. Please call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in making Nosey and/or Monkey part of your family. They are in the KC metro but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and he will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. He is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for him to have a home of his own where he could continue to thrive.

Story
We adopted Millie as a kitten in September 2014. Born in July of 2014, she will be 11 this summer. She has always been best friends with my wife and me. Loves to cuddle on the couch and sleeps with us every night us. However, since the beginning, she has not liked other people. If a friend was over a lot, she would slowly warm up, maybe sit on their lap, but petting her wasn’t really an option for them. We had our daughters in 2021 and 2023. Since then her behavior has gone downhill. She is still loved my wife and me, but hisses, meows and swats at the girls. So much that they are scared and look around the corner for her. It makes us sick to give Millie away, but we can’t have our daughters scared in their own home. Millie is a great cat who loves to play and run through the house. She needs to find a home with no kids and no other pets and she can live a great life.

Story
Sweet cat, loves to talk. Great with kids and likes to be around people. This is 1 of two kittens we had from a litter from our adult cat. Our schedules are way too crazy to have 3 cats, so my daughter is keeping the other kitten she has formed a bond with. Looking to rehome this cat, Peep, and her mother, Nila.

Story
If you look at this little girl’s left ear, you will notice she has an eartip. That means she was trapped from a feral cat colony to be spayed/vaccinated and released. Sometimes we find some that are actually not feral just timid and scared. So, we decided to keep Janie with us and work on her socialization. She has come so far and we all love her but she is still timid and cautious with strangers. She will take a bit of time to trust you but she will and then she is like a dog. She waits for you at the door and is so happy to see you. She gets along good with other cats and loves to play. Give her a chance, you wont be sorry! Janie, girl, born approx. 2017

Story
Lovey is a stray found in Cleveland, MO. She is skittish at first, but very loving once she is comfortable. She is very eager for attention. She’s a beautiful kitty and very lonely, looking for a safe, consistent place to call home. I do believe she should remain indoors considering how frantic she was while outdoors.

Story
Lee is the kind of cat who always has to be around people, but doesn't want you to know that he needs it. He's a special little chonker who loves food and a good nap. He also is particularly fond of falling asleep on freshly cleaned laundry and sitting on chair arm rests. I am moving in with my girlfriend who has a cat with FIV, and taking Lee with me is not an option, for many other situation reasons, but one of the main reasons being it wouldn't be a healthy option for Lee to be exposed to FIV, and hence I need to rehome him. If you wan't a fluffy chonky companion for your home, consider Lee boy.

Cappuccino needs a new forever home due to my living situation. She is cuddly, likes to lay near your feet. She likes to run through tunnels. Her favorite toys are laser lights, balls, wands and playing in boxes. She gets along with kids and other cats. She spends most of her time looking out the window. I don’t think her shots are up to date but I can definitely help with that. Cappuccino likes to bring her toy to you to play! Serious inquiries only I need to find Cappuccino a great home!
