Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Apple Cider, the sweetest, most gentle mama you’ll ever meet! This lovely lady has been taking care of her six rambunctious kittens, and she’s done it with such grace. Her little ones climb all over her like she's their personal jungle gym, and Apple Cider never complains—just watches over them with endless patience and care. Apple Cider may be a bit nervous around people when they’re standing, but if you sit down nearby, she’ll come right over for pets and snuggles. As soon as she gets some affection, she starts purring instantly! She’s the perfect cuddle buddy, always happy to find a warm, quiet spot to curl up in after a long day of kitten-watching. One of Apple Cider’s most charming features is her extra toes—she’s a polydactyl kitty with six or seven toes on each paw! It makes her even more unique and adorable. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion with a heart of gold, Apple Cider is your girl. She’s ready to find a forever home where she can continue being her sweet, affectionate self. Could that be with you?   Apple Cider is from a stray surrender with her 6 kittens. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mini is from a litter of six kittens born to a neighborhood stray. After living in a garage with her mom until she was weaned, she was trapped and brought inside along with her siblings and mother.  Mini is the smallest, and smartest of the litter! Named “Mini” as short for “Mini-me”, she is the spitting image of her wily mother. Mini was trapped last, and yet was the first to figure out how to escape. Her siblings watched her pinpoint the weak point in their cage just seconds after being placed inside, when they hadn’t been able to find it for over 24 hours.  Although very shy and prone to hiding, Mini loves to play. Her bigger siblings often steal the toys from her, but when she gets the chance she loves to chase balls at top speed and pounce on toys. You’ll often find her gazing out the window or tucked into a tiny hidden spot. Convince this kitty there’s nothing to fear and you’ll have the cutest little trickster you could find. Mini is from a stray surrender with 5 siblings. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners. Story
We have had Blizzard and Sirius Black for seven year. They are a bonded pair and have been since birth, and they share litter boxes. We believe they are half siblings from joint litters. Unfortunately we are having behavioral issues from the cats regarding our young children. They will pee just on our kids' toys and in our kids' rooms. We have exhausted every resource and remedy but think that it is time for the cats to find another home, without young children. We love Sirius and Blizzard, so hopefully your home is ready to accept these two cuddly cats. We will be happy to provide you with the cat supplies we have to help with the transition.

Story
Name- Seila Birthdate- May 2022 (2.5 yrs old) My living situation is changing and I need to find her a good home. I originally got her solely as a companion for my daughter, but my daughter for the foreseeable future is rarely able to make it over. She is a loving cat who needs a home where she can receive attention and love that My daughter and I aren’t able to give her. She has never bitten beyond play biting, I don’t know what she would be like around other dogs or cats. She is fine with my daughter, but seems to prefer me better. So it’s possible she may like adults better, or possibly it’s just me that she prefers. Has never gone outside the litter box, doesn’t tear things up, she loves looking out windows. She had all her initial shots when I adopted her from the humane society and brought her to her first Vet appointment. She hasn’t been to the Vet since that time. She is chipped and registered with 24hr petwatch. I have paperwork on vet records & adoption records.

Story
Marianna is a very sweet, petite, affectionate girl! She's raised her 3 babies so she's ready to find a family of her own now. She's learning to enjoy the cat tree, but seems to prefer the window ledge. She enjoys hanging out with her peole also. She's not very interested in toys right now, but that could also be because she she still has her kittens to play with.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2093364##

I came from a reservation and have been pretty reserved in my foster home up until recently. It took me about 6 months to come out of my shell but I now LOVE pets and attention! I ask for them routinely and like to be by you. I haven't been a huge fan of my foster mom's resident cats but I get along well with my sister. With slow introductions I would probably do fine with other cats as long as they are independent and not wanting to be in my face. I'm just a great cat who needs a super patient adopter that will allow me to shine in my own time! I promise, I'm worth it! Elliandra is from a reservation.
