Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Baby is a very sweet, low energy girl who likes to get lots of pets. If she wants some attention, a gentle nose nudge is her first way of showing you, and if that doesn't work, a tiny paw lightly touching your arm is another polite way to ask for pets. She does not use her claws when she asks, and she's fine walking away if you have other things to do.  Baby likes pets, but she does not like to be brushed. As an older gal, her fur is a little bit rough looking, but it's also pretty short so it doesn't bother her.   Baby also likes to play with a bit of fabric dangling off the end of a stick.   Baby is from an owner surrender with her sister. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Remi! I came to my foster parents when I was 12 days old. I can be such a sweet little girl who adores playing with her littermates Francis, Frannie, and Demi who were found a few days after I was. I would love to have another kitten to play with, and would do best with my sister Demi as we are best friends.   Remi is from stray surrender with 3 siblings. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 12:36 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Demi! I am such a typical bottle-fed calico. I absolutely love my siblings, especially my sister Remi, and would love to go with her, although I would be fine having another kitten to play with. I play just as much as I cuddle. I have the biggest purr and I can be the biggest sweetheart once I am done playing!   Demi is from stray surrender with 3 siblings. Story
Marianna is a very sweet, petite, affectionate girl! She's raised her 3 babies so she's ready to find a family of her own now. She's learning to enjoy the cat tree, but seems to prefer the window ledge. She enjoys hanging out with her peole also. She's not very interested in toys right now, but that could also be because she she still has her kittens to play with.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2093364##
