My name is Sassy. I’m a spayed female tortoise-shell cat about 14 years old. My human was injured and is no longer able to take care of me, so I need someone to talk to and love. I enjoy long conversations. I’m quite smart and love to watch the world outside the window and nap in the sun. I‘m an indoor cat and the vet says I don’t have any health problems. I’ve always been the only pet in the house and am not used to children, but I warm up to people quickly, especially if they talk to me and pet me. My favorite place to nap is in your lap or in my bed.

3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. She is a very sweet girl who is doing pretty well considering she did not have a good source of shelter, food or water. She is a shy girl who will need time and patience to adjust to a new home. She has tested neg for feline leukemia, FIV, heartworm, and she is spayed and current on shots.
