Story
Hi! My name is Kakapo and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 7yrs old and I've been at the shelter since September 22nd.I am a very sweet lady who likes slow introductions and plenty of space. I can get a little overstimulated in different settings, so going slow and letting me come to you works best. My ideal home would be low key with not a lot going on I did previously live with another cat and did fine. I have not met dogs or kids and I think its best to keep it that way. I like my own space and I will come to you if I want some love!If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.KAKAPO'S ADOPTION FEE: $50 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Kakapo and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Story
Hi! My name is Flighty Lydie and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 1yr old and I've been at the shelter since October 10th.I am a very sweet girl who can be a little nervous when meeting new people. I came to the shelter as a stray, so staff is taking their time and slowly learning more about me. Patience is key with me for sure, I need to know I can trust you. With a few gentle pets I will plop my head in your hands and roll around begging for more pets! My ideal home would be very patient while I take time to adjust to new people and places. I would probably do best with low key animals and probably older kids, I like boundaries and space for myself. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt!
