3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. Thanks to a compassionate property owner, she and her feline family were part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) effort, allowing them to live safely and peacefully in an insulated garage. Her days were filled with joy and companionship, especially with her mother, who was her closest friend. They hunted together, played chase, and curled up side by side, sharing warmth and love. But recently, MissGray’s mother didn’t return, leaving her to navigate the world on her own. But this brave cat has showed resilience. The property owner decided to bring MissGray indoors to see how she would adjust, and to everyone’s delight, she’s doing wonderfully! MissGray has excellent litter box manners and is learning to trust her new indoor world. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loving companion, purring, rubbing against your legs, and soaking up gentle pets.
