Story
Lavendar has had a difficult start in life, we got her when she was pregnant and she had beautiful kittens she loved so much. She was having a issue feeding them and we had to have a few surgeries on her because her teats were breaking open. We had to take her away from babies and it was heart breaking for everyone involved. She has mothered a few other litters since she was heeled. She loves to be petted for hours and is really ready for a home of her own. She's okay around small dogs, but really wants a family who will spoil her rotten. She's a pretty torbie with a pretty coat. Lavendar herself is friendly and sweet and she will be needing an indoor only home of her own. If you might be interested in a sweet, young companion, Lavendar might be your girl. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number at marlas2468@yahoo.com

Kari comes to us from a terrible situation in a over crowded trailer and owners who are being evicted this week. There were 18 in the house and all were friendly, now vetted but need a loving home. She has a sister and brother and they are small for their age. She is gorgeous and outgoing and friendly and playful. We are looking for non smoking homes. If you can foster her or open your heart to a sweetheart like her or her sister or brother, please call or text me at 517 294 4514 Or email me at marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Yian, Kelly and Kari are sisters. They came from a cat hoarding situation. They had kittens by their brother. We have also, Buck their father. These babies are all friendly. They had a long story, I'd be happy to tell you. Yian came to us with five babies three days old. One baby died the day before we got them. Yian is a super great mother to her babies and will be fixed after she weans them. She's pretty small, only just over five pounds. She and her sister Kari are gorgeous dilute calicos. They are sweet and playful. They were all raised with a very big dog that they loved. We will be looking for a non smoking home for her or possibly with one of her sisters once she weans her babies. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514. Or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Ink and her litter came from a horrible situation, the worse outdoor situation I have seen in many years. Their mother is a stray, the lady of the house was feeding her milk so mother was very anemic and unable to provide for her kittens. They were born on old straw near the house which was so badly infested with fleas, we had NEVER seen a worse case of flea infestation. We lost her sibling seven hours after we got them and she was so infected she actually deflated. She had no blood, fleas had sucked it all out of her. I've never seen anything like it before. We went to work on the litter and spent an hour on each kitten getting all the fleas off them, bathing them, treating them. It was the biggest task ever. We were able to safe the other three kittens and their mother and older siblings. Monumental chore. But proud to have gotten them in time to save the rest of them. And they are as cute and sweet as can be. Ink, Adink, Ado are the three kittens. Adink and Ado are bonded and we are looking for a home with another kitten for Ink or a adopter who has another young kitten needing a female kitten friend. We are looking for a non smoking home. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Sweet Edythe and her sister Eudoria are both sweethearts. Edythe has a shorter tail, we aren't sure if something happened to it but its a few notches shorter than a regular tail. Eudoria is somewhat rare, she's a Torbie Calico. You don't see these that often. Both girls are purring machines and love bugs. They were born in July, both still young. Both people friendly in a big way. Would be a great pair for an adoptive family. They need to be indoor only we are looking for non smoking home for them. Playful and fun, these sisters are happy to be in your lap or playing, chasing each other all over the house. Story
Juno is a sweet stray girl who started hanging around our home about 4-5 months ago. We were feeding her daily and then one day she decided she wanted in and of course we couldn’t say no. We took her to the vet to see if she was chipped but unfortunately she wasn't. We were told she was healthy, no FIV or anything serious. She was however pregnant. She had her babies about 2 months ago. We recently tried introducing her to our other animals and it did not go well. She is a sweet girl but definitely needs to be in a one pet home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Blueberry Muffin is a sweet, fun little girl new to our rescue! She was found all alone in Detroit and was almost hit by a semi truck before rescued. She loves playing with her little foster friends, she would do best in a home with other kitties to play with. Blueberry Muffin is ready for her forever home!     HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 5:53 am
