Calico kittens & cats in Holland, Michigan

At 15 years old, Charlie has lived a life of love and lost. She was the beloved feline companion to her owner for most of her life, but when her owner passed away, the family didn't want her and tossed her outside. Charlie is a house cat and didn't know how to survive outdoors. She hunkered down in the bushes in her neighborhood, relying on scraps from the neighbors. By the time a cat lover heard about her plight and took her in, Charlie had lost a ton of weight, had fleas and parasites and ear infections. This cat lover brought Charlie to the vet and brought her back to health. Our rescue assists terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets, including after the owner has passed away. We brought Charlie to a foster home, where she is getting lots of love and attention. She is friendly and outgoing, immediately exploring the new environment. She is a lap cat and enjoys cuddling. She has some typical age-related issues: she is deaf (so her meows come out loud - she can't help it!) and has arthritis that we are treating with pain medication so she has the best quality of life. She loves sleeping on a heating pad. She is used to being the only cat in the household and would thrive in a quiet environment. To emphasize and confirm: This is two female kitties that are sisters and a bonded pair and need to stay together, as they'd be lost without each other. They are fairly young, between 2 and 3 years old. They are super cuddly and loveable. They love people and attention. They recently lost their caregiver (my Mom) and so thus need to be rehomed in a nice loving home. Bella (Isabella) (the slightly more colorful one) is the more outgoing one who especially likes to purr and cuddle. Willow is a little more shy but will still warm up to you with just as much love as her sister. They love to play together.

Kimchi, or ChiChi as we call her, was given to us from a greenhouse this past summer as the last unwanted kitten of the litter. We took her home and planned to have her as a garage kitty but she stole our hearts and is now and inside-outside cat (mostly inside because of HOA rules). We are needing to rehome her because we can’t give her the freedom of outside time she needs with HOA. She is so loved but we want her to live her best life. She will come with everything you need to take care of her. Ideal home would be a semi-calm home with another cat/s to play with! NEEDS outdoor free roaming time. That will be a requirement.

**As of 7/26/2024, reduced adoption fee from $85 to $50** Our beautiful and sweet Mochi is ready for her fur-ever home! She was an amazing momma to our kittens Boba and Tea! She is incredibly affectionate, loves to snuggle and receive pets. She is a purring machine. We do not know much about her history. We picked her up from Saginaw shelter due to them being extremely full. She was surrendered to that shelter and had her 2 kittens one day later.   Mochi is extremely friendly with all people, but she would prefer to be in a home without other animals. She becomes very stressed with other cats and dogs. We are unsure about her age. On her exam we thought she was young, about 1-2 years old. But on the paperwork we received on her from the other shelter, they stated she could be 6, so we are unsure if this age was given from the previous owners and if this is accurate or not. Ronnie is a handsome, all black kitty with a loving personality. Our volunteers love to pet him. He's almost 4 years old. We hope that someone will come along soon and give him all the love he deserves.

Diana and Mittens were adopted from BestPals by one of our wonderful volunteers. Due to health issues, he had to move to assisted living. These cats have lost their home and their person, so they’re out of their element and lonely. We’ve been giving them lots of attention and Diana is doing better. She’s coming out of her shell to show her very loving and affectionate personality. She loves to explore. Diana is a beautiful 8 yr old who is looking for her forever home after such a sad goodbye.
