Calypso was a stray cat in our neighborhood. We rescued her on September 1st, 2024. One week later, we brought her to our vet to test for infectious diseases as we have 2 other cats in our home. We were very surprised to find out she was pregnant! On September 21, 2024, she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. She is a great mom and we were able to adopt out her 2 sons. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our options in trying to socialize her with our other 2 cats. She does well with people but does not seem to like her own species. Calypso would thrive in a home without other cats.

Meet Mama – A Sweet and Loving Companion Looking for Her Forever Home! Mama came into our lives as a stray in June 2024. My girlfriend and I took her in, wanting to give her a safe and loving home. To our surprise, we soon discovered she was pregnant, and on July 3rd, 2024, she gave birth to three beautiful kittens. Now, Mama is just over a year old, and she has grown into a sweet, affectionate, and playful cat. She loves snuggling under the sheets at night, enjoys playing, and gets along well with other cats. She hasn’t been spayed yet, but she’s in great health and full of love to give. We adore Mama, but with a baby on the way and five cats in a small home, we’ve made the difficult decision to find her a new loving family. We’re looking for a home where she will be cherished, given plenty of attention, and ideally, have feline friends to play with. If you’re looking for a cuddly, affectionate, and playful companion, Mama would be a perfect addition to your home!

At 15 years old, Charlie has lived a life of love and lost. She was the beloved feline companion to her owner for most of her life, but when her owner passed away, the family didn't want her and tossed her outside. Charlie is a house cat and didn't know how to survive outdoors. She hunkered down in the bushes in her neighborhood, relying on scraps from the neighbors. By the time a cat lover heard about her plight and took her in, Charlie had lost a ton of weight, had fleas and parasites and ear infections. This cat lover brought Charlie to the vet and brought her back to health. Our rescue assists terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets, including after the owner has passed away. We brought Charlie to a foster home, where she is getting lots of love and attention. She is friendly and outgoing, immediately exploring the new environment. She is a lap cat and enjoys cuddling. She has some typical age-related issues: she is deaf (so her meows come out loud - she can't help it!) and has arthritis that we are treating with pain medication so she has the best quality of life. She loves sleeping on a heating pad. She is used to being the only cat in the household and would thrive in a quiet environment. Meet our beautiful house panther, Tasha! She is 11 months old and was found outside as a stray. Whatever she went through before finding comfort and safety within our rescue is unknown, but it definitely has made an impact on her. She's timid in new situations, and likes to feel secure and safe before opening up to new humans. Despite that, she does like to play with her kitty toys and her personality shines through once she knows she is in good hands! She loves soft and gentle pets but is not a fan of being held because it makes her feel unsafe. Tasha loves sitting on top of her perch on the cat tree and looking out at the world and watching the birds. She has a very beautiful soul and just needs some patience and time, as well as a very special cat lover as her forever owner. Bianca is your new best buddy! After her owner passed away, she spent an entire year(!) confined in a kennel before Michele's Rescue came into her life. She arrived to us very shy, agitated, and slept all day.   Fast forward to today, a month later, and she has blossomed in her foster home!
