Story
We got Jade after our mother passed away, she had just had her 3rd litter of kittens. She is skittish at first but once she warms up she is very sweet. She is very patient with young children. She is great with our 4 year old and one year old. She was a little on the skinny side but we got her back to a healthy wieght. I just want her to find a home were she is loved and taken care of.

Story
Cali (short for calico) is a sweet and adventurous cat, She is very affectionate and loves to lay on you. When she's not on your lap she is exploring and getting into an adventure (i.e. trouble). Cali is used to our house being kinda quiet a lot of times but is completely comfortable with chaos that can happen when a lot of people are over for a whole weekend. Cali will bring her own litter box, food/water bowl and a bag of food with her to her new home.

Story
Meet Zoey 🐾 Zoey has been with me since she was tiny enough to fit in the palm of my hand, and she’s grown into a sweet, gentle soul. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she truly enjoys affection—especially when it’s on her terms. Zoey is very independent and content having her own space, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates a calm, low-pressure bond. She loves playing with toys, goes wild for catnip, and enjoys quiet moments just being near her people. She does well with other cats (a slow introduction and a little space at first would be ideal) and absolutely adores dogs—she’s grown up loving my Shiba Inu. Zoey is about 6 years old and would thrive in a patient, loving home that lets her open up at her own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, independent kitty with a soft heart, Zoey might be your perfect match. 🩵

Story
Travis is such a great boy. He has a little hard luck by no fault of his own. He was initially adopted as a 12 week old kitten. He was returned about 7 months later. His former adopters said he hid all the time. He has not had any issues back at his foster home. Travis is very lovable and loves attention. He was adopted several months later but was returned again. While the adopter didn't have any issues with him, in fact she said he was very loving, her older cat didn't want another kitty around. Travis does great in his foster home. He is a little shy when he first gets to know you but he gets along with all the other kitties, especially Gunther. Travis has had all of his initial vetting, including neuter, combo-testing and his initial vaccines but would need to have his vaccines updated. Hence the discounted price. He would very much like a forever home of his own. Thank-you for taking the time to read Travis' story. If you are interested in adopting him, please go to our website, pohrescue.com, and fill out an application. Someone will get back to you asap.

Story
Raven is a survivor. On a dark, very cold morning, while my husband was on his way to work, she came running out of the ditch when he stopped at a stop sign. My husband got out of the truck and she ran right up to him. She couldn't have been more than 4 weeks but she knew what she was doing. She has a best friend, Sterling, and plays with him almost non-stop. She's super playful and super sweet. A little mischievous as well. Raven has been spayed, micro-chipped, combo-tested and received all her age-appropriate vaccines. She very much wants a forever family along with her buddy Sterling. We do discount pairs. If you're interested in Raven, please go to our website, pohrescue.com, and fill out an application and someone will get back to you asap.
