Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. My name is Trixie and I am a very sweet 4 year old lady. Sadly, my owner needed to surrender me because I was not happy with a therapy dog that needed to live with us. Meet Cathy, a confident and super friendly gal! She is a stunning dilute calico beauty looking for her furever home where she can truly be the queen bee. Cathy’s background is a bit of a mystery. She appeared out of the blue one day on her foster parents’s doorstep, and it was clear she had recently been a mama but there were no kittens in sight. Her foster mom searched and kept watch to see if Cathy would return to them, but sadly no kittens ever appeared. It became clear that Cathy was likely lost and unsure of where to go. After spending a couple of months in her foster home, one thing has become abundantly clear—Cathy does not enjoy the company of other cats. When it comes to people, however, Cathy is an absolute sweetheart. She loves attention, enjoys being spoiled and petted, and happily soaks up affection. While she does have a playful side, she is overall a laid-back girl who enjoys lounging and relaxing. Cathy’s dream home is one where she can be the only feline and freely hop onto her person’s lap whenever she desires her royal treatment.
