Story
Meet these 3 sweet sisters!    Talk about kittens that love to play but also enjoy our time leisurely lounging around cat trees. Some of our favorite toys are toy mice and balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and don't forget the laser pointer. We love all the kitty treats, push up treats, brushing, and catnip our foster gives us. We really are love bugs. We really want to be adopted with one of our siblings.  We are too cute and quickly warm up with food, play and lots of pets and love.  Playing cat fishing online cat games is fun times for us too. Our names are Pippie, Sweet Pea Penelope, and Berkley.   Penelope nicknamed Sweet Pea is super sweet and loves attention. Her fur is so soft and silky. She is the tiniest girl in the trio, too cute. Sweet Pea also is a loud purrer and like her nickname so very sweet. Penelope loves getting all the love and attention she can get.  To be considered for Penelope's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Penelope is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.) Story
My name is Lady Sushi and I am a beautiful Calico girl who is about 7 months old and I'm looking for a wonderful home. Being a little older as a kitten means that I have gotten all the crazy kitten antics out of my system.  I am ready to become the elegant Calico lady that God created me to become.  I have a sister Dot who is beautiful too, just in case you might be looking for a pair of really pretty girls to adopt.  We don’t need to go together, but it would be nice.If you are looking for a beautiful cat or two please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 7, 2024, 10:11 pm

Story
Meet Little One, a 5 month old calico female. Little One is the coolest kitten ever! She is so full of life. She loves everyone and everything. She enjoys playing with the cats and dogs in the house and will even do zoomies around the house and chase her tail. She is a T.V. show in herself. She is a great bed snuggler and enjoys watching a good movie. I will miss her very much. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption or email ccrtennessee@gmail.com .December 2, 2024, 1:01 pm

Story
Tivali. ...Tee-vah-lee! The name alone rolls off the tongue.  Meaning divine, or gift of god, that certainly describes this darling kitten.  This petite little Tabico, (tabby and calico mix) has striking markings.  Tivali has tabby stripes overlaying some of her calico coloring, which are highlighted by her beautiful snow white fur.  And then you see that face, with those green eyes, and dotted by a pink little nose.  Your heart will start to melt!  We estimate her birthday as August 1, but you would not know it from her size.  She is a tiny little lady, with an immediate affection for her foster.  Tivali lights up when she is greeted with cuddling arms and a gentle touch,  Her motor comes on immediately.  She is a little purr-ball.  But like most kittens in a new place, she can startle easily.  Who doesn’t?  Tivali likes to find her little space where she feels safe.  Again, who doesn’t?  But this love comes right out to get some head scratches, and to play with that funny little mouse.  And that ball that is trapped in the ring - ‘how do I get that out’, she asks herself.  You can watch her bat that ball around and around!  She attracts attention from the four other fosters in the room, all of different ages.  Tivali holds her own, with maybe an occasional fuss, which is quickly resolved.  She has already made friends with another kitten her size, and there are sure to be hours of chasing, tower climbing, and foster loving to come.  Unless you grab her up first.  She is soon to melt someone’s heart.  Let Tivali be your gift to yourself.  How simply divine that would be!  If you are interested in this little love, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com, and be sure to mention where you live, city and state.  December 16, 2024, 8:11 pm

Story
Poor Ginger Snap has been up for adoption for such a long time simply because she can not tolerated other cats and needs a home of her own to rule over. :( Are you that special family? If so, please fill out an adoption application. She is waiting for YOU! Ginger Snap is initially shy but loves to play and cuddle once she settles in. Her favorite toy is the String-on-a-Stick. She is loves belly rubs and is learning to be a lap cat. She loves attention and has a nice purrrrrr! She is not tolerating the other cat in the home. So, she would do best as an only cat.

These pups are in Lowell, Massachusetts too!

Story
World, you are not ready for our bestie Hazel! She is a 2 year old spayed female brown & white tiger kitty, and she has the biggest personality! You see, our buddy Hazel wasn`t so open to friendship when she first came in. She didn`t know us, we didn`t know her, she had no idea what an animal shelter was, and she acted how she thought she had to to keep herself safe. However, as time passed, she became more and more open to human friendship. Before we knew it, this cutie was rolling around, chirping to be pat & loved up on! The journey of Hazel has been a beautiful one to watch, and we are so proud of the kitty she has become. Now, as far as Hazel has come, this is not to say she is a fool-proof kitty now. She still has her moments of getting overstimulated (too many pats, lots of noise happening, moving too fast in her enclosure) and she can forget herself and give you a smack or a nip. She is rather good at showing signs that she is getting over threshold, like puffing up & swishing her tail, stiffening her body, lowering her head, taking a step away from you, flattening her ears, these things are her way of saying `hey, man, I`m not feeling this right now!`.Due to these personality traits, children are not a good match for Hazel. She shows gentle interest in friendly cats that have passed by her, so we think she may be able to live with another friendly cat after a proper, very slow introduction. She may even get along with a dog that won`t harass her, of course after a proper slow introduction. Feeling brave? Come on down & ask to meet our bestie Hazel! Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays). If you are interested in this pet, please review our adoption process at www.lowellhumanesociety.org/adoption/#process so you`re prepared to adopt & stop by the shelter with the required information to take home this pet.

Story
Oh, why, hello there! My name is Ranger, and I`m a 7 year old neutered male black cat. My friends here at LHS have been kind enough to give me my own space and lots of time to get used to the idea of starting a new chapter of my life. I wasn`t so sure for a while, and I kept to myself for the most part. But, as of recently, I have come to accept that my old life was loved but is now behind me, and it is time to put my best paw forward and embrace this next journey of mine. You see, I`m trying my best to be brave, and have started coming up to people that enter my own personal space. I rub on their legs, and accept gentle pats on my head and back. I REALLY like when they pick up the wand toy and play with me, too! It helps me shake off my nerves, and bond with these nice new people. Treats aren`t so bad, either, especially those push-up Churrus!I think I`d like to steer away from children in my new home, they are fast and loud and I`m easily startled. I used to live with another cat that was older than me, we didn`t play much but I enjoyed her company, maybe another cat in my life wouldn`t be so bad, but we`d have to take things pretty slow. Dogs? Agh, they can be so pesky, I don`t think I want to live with a dog in my new home. Are you a soft, gentle, loving person that has some time to dedicate to showing me that a second run at life can be warm and wonderful? Come down to the shelter and ask my people to visit me, I would love to meet you!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays). If you are interested in this pet, please review our adoption process at www.lowellhumanesociety.org/adoption/#process so you`re prepared to adopt & stop by the shelter with the required information to take home this pet.
