I am a sweet kitten who would prefer a quiet home. I'm shy at first, but I'm a very gentle and loving girl once you get to know me! I'm very curious and easily fascinated. I'm good with other cats. I have had exposure to dogs, but never direct contact. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. She was a stray, her beginnings a question. She was scared and not very trusting at first, but she's learned to love her foster mom. She's a big ankle rubber, loves to help with chores around the house. She's a peaceful kitty, used to living with dogs and cats. She has a mellow personality and calm self confident. Indie-DSH Calico female kitten DOB 5-15-24 (Oct. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Indie came to Rescue when her prior owner surrendered her to the local Humane Society due to family health issues. She was used to a loving family and now has transitioned to a foster home with other cats and dogs. She is still happy to be by herself, but does get along with others. Camila-Calico DSH female, ~ 10-12 mo. (Nov. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application Camila was found as a stray in a small rural community. The local Humane Society took her into a foster home and asked the Rescue to help this sweet girl find a home. She's doing great in the new foster home but is a little shy and may need extra time to adjust to another move. She has met new cats and is okay with everyone. Camila's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Lulu is a one and a half year old calico. This little girl has been with us since Easter March 2024. She had a litter of kittens under our shed that we were able to find forever homes for with the help from Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, Inc. I named this sweet girl Lulu and have been enjoying her sweet personality everyday since. She’s such a sweetheart and I can’t stress that enough. She’s been spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed, estimated to be about 1 and a half years old, potty’s in the litter pan and has a clean bill of health. (I have all of her records) Unfortunately our other two cats aren’t accepting of little Lu and I would like to find her a loving family of her own. She’s currently a bit of a flight risk as she’s only been inside for 3 weeks, but I think in time she will be just fine. Lyla is a very out-going, lovable 5 month old kitten. She came into the rescue with her mom and the rest of her litter-mates. Her mama and all of the kittens are very friendly and out-going. Lyla is always exploring things around her and does not seem to be bothered by much. She has had a couple of encounters with the dogs (both big and small) at her foster home and did not seem too bothered by them. She will play with any type of toy and enjoys the cat tree, lounging on the couch, and playing with the other kittens. She follows her foster mom around for attention and will rub all against her with her face. Foster mom suspects it may be likely that she has some Siamese in her from her facial features and eye color.
