Bessie is a very pretty calico cat that is approximately 1.5 years old. She has gone from a skinny mama cat to a well filled out cat. After a rough start to her life and raising kittens, she is now looking for her forever home where she can be pampered. She gets along well with most of the other cats and kittens at her foster home. She likes cat trees, looking out windows, a variety of toys, and of course the laser light. She is a low maintenance cat who likes attention but is not pushy about it. She should fit in to just about any household.

We are sadly looking to rehome Cora due to some issues following the birth of our third child. She is a kitty who loves to cuddle with you on the couch or get scratches, but is not too thrilled with little ones around and in her space.

Due to some issues in our apartment, we’ve had trouble with accidents, and we believe it may be related to previous pets that lived here. It breaks our hearts to part with them, but we want what’s best for these adorable siblings. About Cali & Sunny: Cali (Calico): A playful, curious kitten who has never had any health issues. She’s full of energy and loves to explore and cuddle. Sunny (Orange Tabby): A sweet boy who was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Sunny has been on an 84-day treatment plan since August 7th, and he’s responding well. He will need his second bottle of pills soon, and while the treatment is expensive, we’re happy to help cover the cost to ensure Sunny continues to get the care he needs. Ash is an energetic and playful little girl. Ash loves to explore and is curious about new things. Once she is done playing, she'll settle on your lap & demand some ear scratches while purring away. Does well with other foster kittens and doesn't seem bothered by the dogs. Ash is being fostered in Union Bridge, MD (Carroll County) along with Stormy, Bella & Smokey. Little Leon was born in the shelter on March 16, 2021. He has a super-sweet disposition and loves to snuggle for long periods. He has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, often referred to as CH. This causes him to wobble and stumble as he walks. His condition will not get worse. Leon is a really happy kitten and doesn’t let that slow him down. He gets right in the mix of playing with his littermates. He loves to climb into the seat of a nearby doll stroller and watch all of the action as well. Leon is being fostered in Hampstead, MD (Carroll Co). Penelope is part of the "black & white" group that we rescued. After their owner passed away, the cats were left outside on their own for about 2 months. Penelope has been spending time at a foster home where she is quite comfortable. As the photos show, she loves cat trees. Hint to her adopter that she would love a cat tree at her forever home.
