Skippy is a former street cat, who really enjoys her foster's other cats, is neutral about the small dog and is skittish with people. She is a cat's cat. More than anything, Skippy needs an adopter who is patient, lives in a low-key home, and loves to cuddle. All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip. We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.

Angelina was found in an alley and she was being fed by a neighbor. She is an attractive, female thus she was being courted by male strays. We did not want her to have any babies! I was able to put her in a carrier and take her to BARCS. They kept her for 2 weeks to try and socialize her, but they determined she was a candidate for TNR. She was fixed, vaccinated and given a flea treatment and I picked her up. She is slowly opening up more so in a home environment, which BARCS said may happen. She will need some time to warm up! She plays with toys, allows me to pet her, she enjoys wet and dry food and of course treats. She does not like to be held for long periods of time. I do not know how she does with children or dogs. She did have some alley cat friends. Angelina deserves to live in a home with a family ! Let's talk and find her the PURRRRFECT home.

Allie loves to sit on shoulders or purr in your lap. She can have full conversations if you meow right. She knows the word good (with me any) my husband, not so much. She appreciates her space but loves a good cuddle.She likes the outdoors so if you have kids or a dog she will think she’s one of them 🤭. She usually will play with us in the yard then find her way back in comfort of her bed.

Zelda is a chunky girl who is very sweet and loving once she is warmed up to you. Food is the quickest way to her heart. We have had her for about a year and she loves sleeping with mom at night. Outside of that and wet food time, she spends most of the day hiding under our bed. She is definitely shy around people and would prefer a quiet home. She loves being brushed and pet, including belly rubs! We believe she needs to be an only cat. We have 4 cats and she doesn’t particularly like the other cats. She does not like it when they try to play with her. She does enjoy the laser point however — the fastest you will ever see her move. She does NOT have jumps — no need to worry about her hopping on the counter!

Are you ready to meet your tiny new best friend? Maisy is looking for her forever home and family to call her own. Maisy is the sweetest kitty cat and a loyal companion. She is very quiet and doesn't make a fuss. She is gentle and affectionate. She will gently nudge your hand for pets and will enjoy sitting next to you or in your lap. She doesn't demand a lot, she just wants a warm bed to sleep in, and a loving hand to pet her. She loves attention and is a cuddle bug. She allows you to pick her up and is easily handled. She likes being brushed. If you pet her, she will reward you with love and purrs. Maisy is a playful gal and really likes to play with her toys, especially the catnip mice. She also enjoys taking naps atop her cat tree like the queen that she is. Maisy is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. She just had a dental cleaning. She is FeLV and FIV negative. She has been dewormed and microchipped. All vet paperwork will be provided upon adoption. Maisy does not enjoy the company of other cats or dogs. Stache is a big, handsome hunk of a kitty! He is young and very friendly. He loves breakfast and dinner when I feed him wet food. He is affectionate and likes to rub against my legs. He also enjoys chasing his toys. He is generally very quiet and extremely chill. He's a gentle giant and the sweetest kitty you will ever meet. He's so laid back that he would probably get along well with dogs too. Stache would do well with adults or older children. He likes to get in the top of his cat tree and observe all the other cats, or take a nap. He loves laying on my bed to sleep also. He is friendly to all the other cats here and he's very respectful of their space. He has been a joy to have here at the rescue. Stache is neutered and up to date on his Distemper and Rabies vaccines. He is microchipped. He is FIV positive but do not let that scare you- he is docile with all the other cats and runs away from confrontation. He will live a long, happy and healthy life.
