Story
Hello, wonderful humans! My name is Kitt, and I'm here to brighten up your world with the warmth of golden sunshine and the sweetness of my personality.Just picture this: a sleek golden fur coat that shimmers like the rays of the sun, paired with eyes that sparkle with curiosity and affection. That's me, your very own ray of sunshine in feline form!I've been told that my gentle demeanor and affectionate nature are just as radiant as my golden fur. I absolutely thrive on love and attention, and I'm always eager to snuggle up in your lap or give you a little head boop to show my appreciation. One of my favorite pastimes is basking in the sunlight streaming through the window, soaking up its warmth and letting it fill me with joy from whiskers to tail. I'm also quite the explorer and enjoy investigating every nook and cranny of my surroundings, especially if it means finding a cozy spot for a catnap. But what I crave most of all is a loving forever home where I can shower my humans with affection and receive it in return. Whether it's playing with toys, lounging in the sun, or simply enjoying your company, I'll be by your side, ready to fill your days with golden moments of happiness. If you're in search of a feline companion who will bring sunshine into your life every single day, look no further! Together, we can create a lifetime of sunny days and endless love. All cats receive spay/neuter, updated vaccines, microchip, and FIV/FeLv/heartworm tests________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Story
Beautiful Gentle Tortie Kitty "Jack-Jack" for Adoption Contact: please email dcmcats@yahoo.com Jack-Jack is very sweet and affectionate! She is also quiet, calm, and patient. This sweet Tortie girl is currently in foster as her family came into a situation where they could no longer keep their kitties. She was staying with family and just recently went into foster but adjusted quickly! She enjoys snuggle time on her foster's lap, as well as watching the birds and squirrels through the window with the other kitties. She also enjoys sitting out in a covered stroller like a doll kitty - so precious! She's also always game for the Saints with her colors, she's ready for next season - check out her pic! This sweet girl has been an indoor kitty since she was adopted as a kitten and her estimated birthday is 3/1. She has a classic tortoiseshell coat with lovely markings, and her face is blonde on one side. She recently received a vet check and is in great health and has vet records available. Jack-Jack lived with another kitty most of her life, but can be the only cat or possibly with another mellow kitty after proper introductions. Jack-Jack would be ideally suited to someone who works remotely, or someone who is home a lot and could spend quality time with her. If you are interested in meeting this sweet kitty Jack-Jack, please email dcmcats@yahoo.com for an application. Please also include a little about yourself and your household in your reply, and tell us what your typical daily and weekend schedule is like. Thank you for considering Jack-Jack as your special kitty!

Story
Chanterelle is a super-playful and energetic young cat! Roughly a year old, we rescued him near starvation inside of a Lowe's hardware store, covered in fleas/mites. He was microchipped and fixed, which unfortunately means he was abandoned as a young kitten and couldn't survive on his own. In the months since we've worked with him, he has put on healthy weight and gotten a clean bill of health. He is a loving cat when not entranced by any number of toys! Unfortunately, it appears that he was separated from his litter too young, and had no socialization with other cats. While he loves people, he is actively aggressive and hostile to cats, which is why we can't keep him permanently. We would have otherwise, because I love this little guy. He is a bit of a rough-houser, though we have worked on training him away from play-biting. It would probably be best not to have him in a house with young children. He's named for a type of 🍄 which is coveted by foragers, and he loves his 🍄 toys

Story
I’ve had Blondie Boy & his son, Pepper, for a couple of years. They’ve been staying in the workout room in the backyard. Pepper would be lost without Blondie Boy. I would prefer to keep them together if at all possible. Blondie Boy is sweet & Pepper is very skittish. They were rescued from a parking lot downtown. I take care of multiple cats & it’s becoming a hardship.

Story
I inherited Annie when my grandmother died. I had never been a cat owner before so I didn’t know what to expect when I committed to taking her. Annie is a 12 year old cat who was used to living in a big house where she was allowed outside. When I adopted her she incurred a big lifestyle change since I live in a high rise apartment where she can’t venture outside. She likes to prowl at night which isn’t conducive to my living situation. Annie would thrive in a home where she has space to wander with outdoor privileges. Annie is a sweet cat who love attention and would make a good companion.
