Callie was born 5/13/24. She is very curious and would make a great adventure kitty for an active owner. She currently does not like to be held, but I think she could potentially learn to like a leash with an owner that has time to spend with her. She does like to snuggle in hair, which could be bothersome for some owners. She likes things her way and is pretty vocal about it. Callie likes to climb, play, and watch the world out the window. She eats hard food, soups, and shreds. She does not care for pâté. She loves pets and even the occasional belly rub. She really does not like to be picked up.

She loves being scratched & petted but does give cat little nips (pinches) while you are petting her or brushing her, LOL! But she isn’t intending to hurt you, just letting you know it tickles. She and Peaches are from the same litter and were born in the shipyard. She is spayed and is approximately 5 years old. Tiger is a Calico with lots of white and lovely markings. She is a bit overweight being in a multi-cat household. We would be happy to recommend some low carb foods so she can loose weight but still get proper nutrition. She gets along well with other cats but can be adopted solo. Sweet Girl Peaches – Special Needs Kitty Contact dcmcats@yahoo.com Peaches is a sweet cat who craves attention! She was rescued from a shipyard where she was found abandoned with another cat. She is so very sweet and is affectionate, and loving and easy going. She is spayed and is about 5 years old. She is great with other cats and loves to wash one of the rescued feral cats. She just needs some help getting in shape! She is a big Calico with a pretty face and beautiful green eyes. She is a special needs kitty who requires help with grooming until she looses weight, she cannot reach all her parts. Her rescuer is unable to keep her separated from other cats and works long hours, so she has access to food all the time. She requires a home where she can be fed separately and not free fed, so she can be more active. She liked to run on an exercise wheel when she was thinner. Her rescuer is looking for someone who is experienced with special needs cats or with cats who need to watch their weight. Peaches will need to loose weight gradually so that she does not overtax her liver, or feel deprived. We are happy to recommend some low carb cat foods for her special diet. Sweetie pie is lovable and friendly. She is always available to jump into your lap and let you pet her. She is truly a one of kind companion. My heart is sad to surrender her but my health has declined and I will not be able to keep her anymore.

This silly, sweet and adorable girl is named Filet. She is 5 years old, but still has plenty of love and spunk in her. She loves to be close to you; she will rub up on you while doing the dishes, cooking or even sitting on the toilet (lol). She also will always come check on you while you’re showering to make sure you’re okay in there. Not the kind of girl you can pick up and carry around, but she has many other great qualities to counter that. She loves cuddling in bed, and is a very talkative and vocal girlie. Easy to please, just wants love and yummy food. Rehoming her because I’m pregnant and relocating, and 6 cats is too many to bring with me. She just happens to be the one I believe would adapt the easiest because of her affectionate nature. Used to living with dogs and other cats, but I’d love to see her get to be an only-cat after being pushed around by her mean sister (my other cat) for 5 years. Very sweet&special. Hi, Gizmo was our family cat we adopted in 2012, but my parents rehomed her in 2015. I assume she has been with the same older lady for the past 10 years. When the older lady passed away, the shelter contacted us because Gizmo’s microchip was still under our information. Unfortunately, she does not get along with our current cats at all. However, she is more comfortable around our small dogs. Gizmo is 13 years old and is both sweet and feisty at times.

I am super quirky with a little bit of sassiness. I am also very vocal. My different meows mean different things but i love to talk. I love to play with toys an am treat driven. I'd love a home with no other animals or little kids bc they scare me. I also like a little space of my own to go to so I can relax and decompress from the day.
