Story
Meet Mr. T Mr. T hasn’t had an easy life. For over a year, he lived outside, learning to survive on his own and relying on the kindness of one person who slowly earned his trust. That trust didn’t come quickly—it took time, patience, and consistency. And now, everything he’s ever known has changed again. Inside a home, Mr. T is still learning that he is safe. He watches quietly from his hiding spot, taking everything in. When the room is still and calm, he finds the courage to come out—eating, exploring, and sometimes even laying nearby. In those quiet moments, you can see the cat he’s trying so hard to become. Fear still lives in him. Sudden movement can send him running, and reaching for him feels scary. Trust, for Mr. T, is fragile—and once shaken, it takes time to rebuild. And yet… he’s trying. One of the most beautiful things about Mr. T is how much comfort he finds in other cats. He watches them, follows their lead, and feels safe enough to eat and exist alongside them. Because of this, he will absolutely need a calm, friendly feline companion in his forever home. He also enjoys playing with toy mice and has recently shown interest in catnip. Mr. T is not a cat for everyone. He needs someone patient, gentle, and understanding—someone who won’t expect quick affection but will celebrate every small victory. A quiet home is essential. No chaos, no pressure… just time, consistency, and kindness. While he may never be the type of cat to curl up in your lap, he may become the one who quietly shares your space, trusts you in his own way, and chooses to be near you when he feels safe. At night, Mr. T sometimes climbs up on the bed to rest next to your lower legs. He avoids dogs when he can and hisses when he can’t, so a dog-free home is ideal. Mr. T could also do well as a barn or shop cat, especially if there are other cats around to keep him company. What matters most is that he has a safe place to land—and someone willing to let him be exactly who he is. Mr. T doesn’t need perfection. He just needs patience… and someone who won’t give up on him.

Story
Meet Lou: Retired Olympian, Current Desk Diva Once upon a time, Lou was rescued by a kind human who offered her safety, warmth, and a cozy basement to settle in. But Lou had other plans—she was training for the Hide and Seek Olympics. And let us tell you… she won. Her gold-medal strategy? Vanishing into the basement walls like a feline Houdini, popping out only for midnight snacks and hydration, then ghosting again for two weeks. Respect. Lou’s epic run came to an end when she realized the medal doesn’t come with snacks or snuggles. So she gracefully retired from the sport and traded in the shadows for a desk job—literally. Now she spends her days lounging atop an office desk like the queen she is, soaking up attention, naps, and back scratches. Lou loves affection and will happily roll over for pets—but please, no unsolicited pickups. Her biscuit-makers can turn into murder mittens if boundaries aren’t respected. She’ll climb into your lap when she’s good and ready (usually right when you’re trying to type). She’s got one adorably crinkled ear (a souvenir from her ear mite survival era), a strong independent streak, and a whole lot of love to give—on her terms. Are you cool enough to be Lou’s human?
