Story
Moki is the sweetest couch potato. She loves to be in whatever room you are in and never passes up a good belly rub, but tends to want to stick to herself. She loves kitty treats and she can’t resist a laser pointer toy. Her favorite pastime, however, is bird watching out the window. It is so bittersweet to have to re-home her, but we are moving and cannot bring her to our new place. Hoping that her new home and family will love her and make lots of memories with her as we have.

Story
Monkey, a 13-year-old front-declawed calico kitty, is super sweet and affectionate. Her dad passed away a few months ago and she's in need of a new home now. She would like a home where she gets a lot of attention and love, as her dad was a retired gentleman and doted on her all her life. She sure misses him. Nosey, a younger sister to Monkey, is a 5-year-old, female spayed grey tabby. She's also affectionate and loving and gets along famously with Monkey. They can be adopted into separate homes; however, Nosey does not like any other cats but Monkey, so Nosey will need to be in a single-cat household if these two are separated. Please call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in making Nosey and/or Monkey part of your family. They are in the KC metro but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
This is Kiki, a five-year-old Calico born in the springtime. She is a HUGE cuddle bug and has an incredibly loud purr. Kiki will chat with you sometimes, but isn't super vocal, except when she purrs. She enjoys bunny kicking a Velcro scratcher her dad made for her and will occasionally get the zoomies. As for food, Kiki is a big fan and she's never turned her nose up at a treat! She’s a little shy when meeting new people at first but warms up very quickly. While Kiki gets along well with male cats, kids, and dogs from chihuahua on up, she doesn't like the other female cat in the home (and the feeling is mutual). Her family has tried just about everything to make things work between the girl kitties, but nothing has resolved the hissing matches. So, if you're interested in a wonderfully sweet girl and enjoy cuddling, please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 so we can tell you all about Kiki. She's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Peaches and her son, Onxy, used to fend for themselves outside. A kind person took them in during a blizzard in Kansas City. Now Peaches and Onxy have grown to appreciate the comforts of life indoors and have no desire to venture outside. At about five months old, Onxy is coal black with just a little bit of white on his belly. He appreciates tasty food and playing with toys. He's a brave boy who shows his mama the ropes, letting her know that the world isn't so scary. Onxy is very loving and purrs like a big engine. Peaches is about two years old; she was just a baby herself when she had Onxy, but has learned so much from him. Peaches has started to trust humans and is learning to like pets and scratches. If you're patient with her, Peaches will reward you with her love, attention, and purrs. Both kitties have very good manners and are a joy to have. Peaches and Onxy would do best in an adult-only home with patient people. After all, it's not easy to go from living on the street to having everything you've always wanted right before your eyes: a warm, cozy place to sleep; regular, nutritious meals; fresh water; shelter from the rain and snow; and humans who are nice to you. That's a lot to take in! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on this bonded pair. They're in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and he will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. He is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for him to have a home of his own where he could continue to thrive.

Story
If you look at this little girl’s left ear, you will notice she has an eartip. That means she was trapped from a feral cat colony to be spayed/vaccinated and released. Sometimes we find some that are actually not feral just timid and scared. So, we decided to keep Janie with us and work on her socialization. She has come so far and we all love her but she is still timid and cautious with strangers. She will take a bit of time to trust you but she will and then she is like a dog. She waits for you at the door and is so happy to see you. She gets along good with other cats and loves to play. Give her a chance, you wont be sorry! Janie, girl, born approx. 2017
