Adoption fees are $50.00 for adult cats and $75.00 for kittens under 6 months old at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our cats or kittens. My name is Goomba and I am an orange tabby domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 1 year and 8 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 03/11/2025 due to the fact my owner had personal problems happening in their life and could not take care of me anymore. They were my family for 1 year. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs.All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.

I am here because I was given up by my owner on 03/01/2025 because I was naughty about chewing on cords and jumped on counters to steal food. They were my family for 6 months. I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I dash out open doors or windows if given the opportunity. I would do best in a setting with two doors between exterior doors, such as a screened in porch or hallway, or to be shut in another room or in a kennel before any doors or windows are opened. I can be good with men and women, but I have not been around children. Shelter staff think I would do fine with children 5+ years old. I am great with other cats.
