Callie came to me due to an elderly couple not being able to care for her any longer. She lived her entire 18yrs of life with them and was the only cat. Her pet parents said she is friendly and a good cat.

Story
I'm helping my friend rehome her cat. Here's what she wanted me to share. --- She wasn't a typical rescue; she was discovered in an empty city shop, a gentle soul needing help. Despite her start, she's proven to be a truly loving cat. Now spayed, chipped (all paperwork available), she's about 3 years old and ready for a loving family. She's a talkative cuddle bug, always seeking affection. Initially reserved, she eventually becomes deeply attached, following you with unwavering curiosity. I'm heartbroken that my health and move prevent me from keeping her, and I'm hoping to find her a wonderful home, far from a shelter. —- Included: a ton of toys, scratch posts, cat food, litter, litter box. Cat carrier soft and hard shell.

Story
Meet Elemenopie! Are you ready to meet a truly unique kitty? Elemenopie is an adult female Tortie with a personality as big as her frame (and she’s one LARGE cat—just naturally huge, not overweight!). She’s the queen of relaxation and spends her days lounging around and gazing out the window, keeping an eye on the world outside. This sweet girl is a people-lover at heart. She’s content with the simple things in life: a cozy spot by the window, a steady supply of food, and the love of her favorite human. While she may need a little warm-up time to adjust to other cats, once she’s settled, she’s happy to coexist and generally just ignores them.Elemenopie is the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate feline friend. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, she’s ready to bring her gentle, loving presence into your life.Paperwork? She’s got it all covered—she’s ready to go!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 3, 2025, 9:37 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Edie!   I am a sweet baby angel kitten. I had a tough start to life, if you notice anything different about me?    I was born outside with three brothers (and four legs) right as winter was coming. It wasn’t ideal, though we all made it work. I found lots of places to hide, my favorite was up inside car wheel wells. Unfortunately this led to me losing one of my front paws, as I was injured one night before being rescued. I had a lot of nerve damage which kept me out of pain, but now I’m learning about life as a tripod.    I’m a very tough little girl. Having all brothers has probably helped. I recovered from my big leg surgery quickly, and now I get to chase and tackle my brothers all the time.   I am very cuddly. I purr so loud every time I’m held, the vets have never been able to hear my heartbeat. I’ve only enjoyed being held more since my leg has been gone.    I might have three legs but I can do everything a normal cat can. I love to play, run, scratch, climb; this hasn’t slowed me down at all. I just have a very cute bunny hop now.    I’m looking for someone to adopt both me and  my brother Irwin. He helps me have more confidence when I’m scared and has been really sweet to me while I recover. We are a bonded pair I guess.    I’m up to date on my shots, but waiting to be spayed. I will be ready for adoption on 4/23/25. I hope to meet you soon!    Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).April 14, 2025, 9:37 am
