Story
Mama Mia was most likely dumped as a kitten or possibly born as a stray. She is barely more than a baby herself but has taken care of 6 babies and kept them safe for a the first four months of their lives. She was happy to have the food that I was putting out for them once I saw them crossing the road that day but she was just so unsure of people. I set up a safe place for her in the storage building and she did finally go in there where I was finally able to catch her. The first few days were scary for her but she soon figured out that all I wanted to do was love her. She has been here for about 3 weeks and is finally coming to me on her own and even wanted to play tonight. She will need a home with someone who has a great deal of patience and some experience with semi feral cats. She is fine with me at this point and will learn to trust someone else but it will take some time, love and patience. She is guessed to have been born around 10/17/2022 and has been spayed, microchipped, and had her rabies shot. She has had one Feline shot and will need two more if adopted before the time for them to be given. Her adoption fee is $100. If interested in this beautiful girl, please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Thanks so much for your interest!

Story
So I'm moving with my family from a bad situation, and as much as I would love to take lovely Maple with me, I cannot. We do not have the proper resources or environment to take care of her and I want her to go to a happier household. :) One that can care for her, and give her the things she needs, and brush her, things like that. I put 'unknown' on housetrained; not because she's never been in a house, infact she's never really been outside except for when I found her and once after that years ago and she is about 5 years old, but because she has developed a problem with peeing the bed but that could be because of stress because it came out of nowhere. I found her as a stray, just came up to my porch one day. But she is a good cat, doesn't like to be picked up, but very sweet and loving. Skittish as hell, especially of dogs, but absolutely loves snuggles. Good for someone taking it easy, I think.

Story
We got Sasha from a rescue while working in Arizona. She has always been sassy, certain things make her anxious, and at times fought with our other cats if there was a strange cat or other situation that triggered her. She has always been very loving towards us, on her terms at least. She will jump up on our laps, makes biscuits and purr, snuggle and sleep with us. But lately she has seemed more agitated and aggressive towards our other cats. She bit one of our other cats pretty good and my wife got bit trying to break up another incident. At present she is being kept in a house we are renovating but can't make that permanent. She was very sick last fall and it was discovered she had IBD and EPI. She has recovered and gained back the weight she lost. She requires oral steroids at least for a while and pancreatic enzymes added to her food the rest of her life. We really hate to give her up but think that best for her. She would be an awesome cat in a one cat home. Please help her.

Story
Manning was brought in after a young woman witnessed him being thrown from a car. Miraculously, he was not injured - only scared and confused by the cruelty. He was just a tiny helpless baby who deserved so much better than what humans had shown him up to that point. But thanks to the kindness of this stranger, he was brought to PAWS where he could be loved and cared for until he was old enough to be neutered. It just so happened that Liberty and her litter had just arrived and Manning soon joined them and became the sixth child! He fit right in and has been the older bubby ever since! All of the calico sisters have long since been adopted while Manning waits for his forever family to come. He is a sweet, loving young cat who is funny, smart and so very playful. He will bring many years of love to some lucky person or family! If interested, please go to pawspaws.org and complete the application. Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet to see if you are a fit for him. His adoption fee is $75.

Story
Logan was a two week old kitten when he first came to PAWS. His mother and five kittens were found trying to survive in an alley. They were all pitifully malnourished and covered in fleas but he was especially tiny and almost lifeless. Poor mamma didn't have the strength to clean them or herself. It is a miracle that they even survived. But they fought so hard to live and now they are thriving! It took two weeks of constant care for him to begin to show much energy or strength and he stayed so small. But slowly he began to gain ground and, although he is still the smallest of the litter, he is strong and healthy. He loves to be cuddled and petted and will generally fall asleep in your hands! He is sweet and loving but does take a little time to warm up to new folks. He currently weighs just under three pounds and was born 03/22/2023. (Based on the date he opened his eyes). His adoption fee is $100. He is spayed and microchipped. He will not be old enough for his rabies shot until 07/23/2023. If you would like to meet him, please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Please note: the Petfinder Inquiry is not the PAWS application. Once we have reviewed and approved your application, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Thanks so much for your interest in this precious baby!

Story
Lee is one of five kittens that Momma Liza managed to keep alive against all odds. They were found in an alley starving and covered in fleas. Poor Liza was too weak and sickly to even clean herself or her babies. But all of that is behind them and Lee is ready for his new home. He is also a really good helper. He sits quietly in the corner of each litter box and watches me clean it every morning and every evening! He is a very loving boy who also loves to play. He is smart and loves his toys when his human is not available! His adoption fee is $100. If you are interested, please go to pawspaws.org and complete the PAWS application. Please note: The Petfinder Inquiry IS NOT the PAWS application. If your application is approved, we will set up a meet and greet to see if you are a match for this precious boy.
