Story
SALLY and LUCY Sally and Lucy are calico sisters, about 9-1/2 months old at this posting. They are seeking a loving, devoted home which they can completely rule and dominate, with people who will be their total servants and vassals and who will spoil them completely in the way they have become accustomed to. They are spayed (December 2023), fully vetted through their kittenhood, up-to-date on shots including Rabies, FVRCP and FeLV, and extremely healthy and active. They MUST go together as a pair, as they are totally bonded- they play, chase, wrestle, cuddle and sleep together constantly. They also (we are convinced) collaborate on effective schemes to steal human food at every possible opportunity- they’re particularly fond of chicken and bacon. SALLY is a classic calico, multicolored in black, orange and white- her markings are beautiful and unique, like she was assembled late on a Friday when few matching parts remained in stock. She has long legs (rear slightly longer than front, for speed) and a very long tail, a gorgeous face and eyes, and has soft short fur. She is a cuddler, loves to sit on laps and purr and nuzzle and be loved. LUCY is a dilute calico; her colors are blue/grey, peach and white rather than Sally’s black, orange and white. Like Sally, her markings are unique and beautiful. Lucy has the long tail and long legs, but even softer fur than Sally. Lucy loves her pets but is more likely to pick her own times to cuddle; she’s more likely to curl up next to you or come look you in the eye than get in your lap. And when plots are being hatched to steal human food, our observation is that Lucy is the brains of the outfit, the planner, while Sally is the executor of the plans- Sally is faster and sneakier! But both are VERY food-motivated for sure! These two need a VERY loving, attentive forever home to go to and totally rule- they would be ideal for younger families - they seem to get along OK with other cats and with some dogs, but truly prefer each others’ company above any other animals- and they have PLENTY of love and affection to share with their humans! They’re VERY sweet sociable kittens and would be EXCELLENT pets - they already are! Only two rules about their adoptors: (1) They MUST be willing to spoil them and love them and take excellent care of them as INSIDE cats, including annual veterinary care, and we’d prefer to be kept in the loop with pictures and stories- we’ve become hopelessly fond of them ourselves- and (2) If, for any reason whatever, you decide you can’t keep them or wish not to keep them, they MUST be returned to US- not just turned in to a shelter or rescue- no explanation needed, but WE want them back rather than see them take their chances out there- no matter if it’s twenty years from now!

Story
Artie is about 2 years old, we adopted her from a shelter. She is super sweet and she loves attention. She is very affectionate. She even likes tummy rubs. She is great with kids. She has been around other cats and just wants to play with them. She has never been around dogs. Her favorite thing is when someone sits down on the couch and puts a blanket over their legs, she jumps up on your lap, makes biscuits, then lays down and falls asleep on you as you pet her. We are moving and unfortunately we can't take her with us. Someone please adopt me before I have to be taken to the shelter.

Story
Hi, you can call me Cersei! I'm a 5 month old tabico girl, which is a calico but with tabby stripes! I'm the most outgoing of my siblings, and I'm going to want you to play with me, especially if you've got a wand toy. I probably like being pet the best of my siblings, too--I'm just a little braver than they are. Maybe you can adopt one of them with me so we can play together?    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    November 12, 2024, 9:44 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Fig! I'm a 1 year old dilute tabico, which means I'm a tabby with some calico coloring, but dilute, so instead of orange and black, my colors are peach and grey. I'm *mostly* grey tabby, honestly, but there are some little bits of peach on my coat here and there. Anyway, I know that's a lot of explanation that you probably don't care about! What you might care about is that I'm a serene, intelligent girl kitty. I am the mother of Kaylani and Kilven, but between you and me, being a mom is not all it's cracked up to be. Kittens are so much work! Now that they're old enough to find their furever families, I'm ready to find my own furever family where I can snuggle up to my people and take a lot of great naps. Story
Meet Marietta and Ariel, two stunning black and white sisters who share an unbreakable bond. At 6 ½ years old, these DSH beauties have spent their entire lives together, and we're hoping to find them a forever home where they can continue to thrive side by side. Sadly, they were recently returned to our rescue after their owner developed allergies, despite having loved and cared for them since they were just 4 months old. Both Marietta and Ariel are the epitome of sweetness—true cuddle bugs who adore attention and pets. Their gentle, affectionate natures make them the perfect companions for anyone looking to add a pair of loving kitties to their family. These girls have been together since birth, and we’d love to keep them together if possible. They find comfort and joy in each other’s company, and adopting them as a pair would ensure they continue to lead happy, content lives. If you have room in your heart and home for two sweet, inseparable souls, please consider giving Marietta and Ariel the loving forever home they deserve. 🐾❤️

Story
Hi, I'm Letty (but you can call me Kitty Kitty!) I’m a big, fluffy, mature Maine Coon mix. I’m super affectionate once I get to know you. I love scritches, head bumps, and cozy moments with my favorite humans. In fact, I’ll take all the love and attention you’re willing to give—just no loud noises or long hours alone, please. I’m hoping for a quiet home, ideally with someone who’s around a lot to keep me company (no other pets or young kids, please—I'm more of a one-on-one kind of gal). While I'll miss my mama, I know that she wants what’s best for me. I will even bring my toys and litter boxes to my new home. I’ve been spayed and vaccinated, and I’m ready for my next adventure with a family who can give me the love and attention I need. Please note: To ensure my future home is ready to provide the care I deserve, there will be a small, non-refundable adoption fee. This helps avoid scammers and ensures my new family is committed to giving me the loving home I need.
