Calico kittens & cats in Cedartown, Georgia

Artie is about 2 years old, we adopted her from a shelter. She is super sweet and she loves attention. She is very affectionate. She even likes tummy rubs. She is great with kids. She has been around other cats and just wants to play with them. She has never been around dogs. Her favorite thing is when someone sits down on the couch and puts a blanket over their legs, she jumps up on your lap, makes biscuits, then lays down and falls asleep on you as you pet her. We are moving and unfortunately we can't take her with us.

Cassie(Cassandra) is a sweet yet feisty young cat. She is about 9 months old and was about 6-8 weeks when we took her and her sister in from a hoarding situation. While her sister adjusted quickly Cassie unfortunately did not. Though she knows how to use a litter box, often times she will instead find the nearest soft surface and use the bathroom there (I.e. couch, rugs, toys, mattresses, etc.). The situation has become so bad for her(completely isolated)and for all involved that it’s become a health problem for our young son. She is a bit of an anxious ball of energy and is on meds for it but she is the gentlest player I have ever encountered. After watching her grow up over the last few months I believe she will be much happier if it was a single cat home. She demands love and attention and often carries around her favorite mouse. Please, I hope someone will be willing to give this little girl a chance. We will miss her but I know this will is the right choice for her

 Hey, my name is Callie, and I'm a tabico (calico with tabby striping). I'm 5 years old and I don't know why my previous family gave me and my brothers up to the shelter. I don't like it here, but I am trying to keep positive--it helps that I have my brothers, Skoodle and Fluffy, with me. We would really like to get a home together, or even just two of us going together, but if we have to each go to different homes, we'll be okay. I do like to get pet, and if you come see me in the shelter, just take some time to pet me and talk to me, and I will probably start purring after a few minutes. I might even make biscuits! I can be a really loving girl, I just need to feel safe in a furever home that will really be furever.   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.   Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Faile is the sweetest girl who needs a loving home. She is litter (and pellet) box trained. I've had her for 5 years (she's a pandemic baby) and took her in as a kitten from my neighbor whose cat had just had a bunch of kittens, but cannot keep her because I'm moving and cannot have pets at my new situation. She loves snuggling, playing with her toys, sleeping in sunbeams and general frolicking about. She's been in a one cat household so I do not know how she'll get along with other pets.

Ellen was a feral stray who kept having her kittens at a kind person's house.  They were able to catch her and her 3 kittens to get them to safety.   Ellen's past has left her somewhat feral and slow to trust.   ##1632061##

Felix is an adult male, just over a year old and he is a very chill kitty.  He loves to play with other cats and toys and he spends a lot of time just lying around purring.  Felix has been here for quite awhile now , he is one of our longest residents and we have no idea why.  Might you be the right home for Felix?   ##1580980##
