Ellen was a feral stray who kept having her kittens at a kind person's house.  They were able to catch her and her 3 kittens to get them to safety.   Ellen's past has left her somewhat feral and slow to trust.   ##1632061##

**Lady Godiva is currently testing positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and it is recommended that she be retested at 7 months, as some cats do revert to negative status. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives in supportive homes, as well as with other cats with whom they get along well. Our Adoption Counselors will be happy to talk to you more about this.**  Lady Godiva does have some food sensitivities and is on a specific dry and wet food but it is OTC and easily obtainable.  I absolutely love laying on my human friends and will snuggle will them all day! We found Calcifer abandoned beside a dumpster as a very young kitten during winter, and we rescued him without hesitation. He's almost exactly 9 years old and has lived with us ever since we rescued him as a kitten. We're having to rehome him b/c he has an issue with urinating in inappropriate places (three other pets + new baby). Coming to terms with having to rehome him has been heartbreaking, especially after what he went through as a kitten, b/c he's a wonderful cat and anyone would be lucky to have him. It takes time for him to warm up to strangers, but, once he does, he's a very loving and silly cat. I have a chronic cough that comes and goes, and he always expresses concern in meows and comes to find me and sit on my lap. We're hoping to find him a home with someone who can commit to taking care of him and loving him for the rest of his life. Preferably a home w/o other animals or children because he can get stressed and feel a need to compete for attention and his own space.

This precious girl is Rosie. She was surrendered to the shelter because the owner traveled to often and had no time for her. Per her previous owner, Rosie was around other cats and children. She really does act as regal as her photo shows her, but in the most wonderful way.
