Calico kittens & cats in Venice, Florida

Baby is about 10 yrs old, I volunteered to take her when her last owner passed away. She is a one person cat, does not do well with other pets. She is a lap cat once she is comfortable with you. Enjoys her treats, will try to taste what ever you are eating (specially French fries). Does not like canned food. She is hefty and a lounge cat. Not vocal at all until you put her in a carrier. Enjoys being brushed. Again she is a one person cat.

This is Teddy! She is an adult female tortie. She is energetic, playful, and very affectionate. She loves to head bump, cuddle, and she even likes to jump on your back and shoulders. (You have to watch out for her sometimes because if you bend over to pick something up she will perch herself on your shoulder like a parrot lol) Teddy is a bit unique, she has two cauliflower ears that may need to be checked and monitored from time to time (perhaps a bit more regularly than your average cat) Also, you'll notice that she has thumbs! (Which just means she is a Polydactyl cat!) Which to us only makes her cuter and we hope you feel the same. We are trying to find Teddy a forever home is because her previous owner is an older individual (our neighbour) that has developed a chronic illness that prevents them from being able to care for their pets properly, we are unfortunately unable to care for her ourselves but we just want the best for her.

Zena is 1 year young and has already had 2 litters of babies! This precious girl is small in size and will not grow anymore. At a whopping 7 pounds, the veterinarian believes that since she since got pregnant with her first litter at 4 months, then again at 7 months, she did not completely develop to her full growth and weight potential. Zena loves to have human interaction so she can enjoy kittenhood for the first time! She is very loving and wants your undivided attention, and will even flop down in front of you so you can rub her sides and belly!! She’ll also head butt you because she wants you to pet her and give her gentle chin scratches! We believe she is just realizing that she is still a kitten herself and just wants to be loved and played with! Zena will get along with dogs as long as they are extremely gentle and do not bother her. It’s more of a tolerance to dogs. She does, however, get along with other cats as long as they, too, are very gentle! Zena is extremely passive and low key, does not like loud sounds, and wants nothing more than to sit with her human getting belly rubs and chin scratches. Patty was rescued when someone threw her into a lady’s yard leaving her scared, tired, and hungry. We took her in, got her to the veterinarian where she’s been completely vetted and spayed. In the short time we have had her, she will play Patty cakes with you! It’s more of a high five but sweeter! If you put your hand out, she will also reach her little hand out to touch yours! Patty is also becoming a lap cat, wants so much attention, lots of chin and cheeks scratches, and is learning to play with toys. Hickory is a handsome three-and-a-half-year-old tabby with beautiful green eyes that look like jade. He is very toy-motivated and especially loves chasing a laser point. Hickory would be a great companion for someone patient and willing to pet him in low doses. He becomes overstimulated if he is petted for too long. Hickory is on a special diet, so it would be best for him to be in a home with no other cats.
