They will require a home that is quiet with no other pets or young children.  They are happy napping all day in their cat tree and looking out at the birds. Who is looking for a purrfect pair of kitties to love?! Please consider Jasmin and Kimber ❤️ Jasmin originally came into the county animal shelter as a stray and had four kittens. We try to work with the shelter and take any of the mom cats when they come back since they’ve already had more than a five day stray hold and often don’t get a lot of time before they are returned to field (rtf) outside. We were able to take Jasmin into the rescue along with three of her kittens that had not yet been spoken for. The kittens were quickly adopted and Jasmin went to the pet store for adoption. One of the kittens, Kimber, wasn’t eating and came back to us. We did fluids, syringe fed her, and kept her warm. After a few days, she still wouldn’t eat so we got Jasmin back from the store and brought her to the kitten. Kimber and her mom had a sweet reunion and then both walked to the food bowl and ate 👏 Kimber’s adopter wanted to take Jasmin too and we happily agreed. However, after 3 days, she wanted to bring Jasmin back as she was chasing one of the other cats (we did discuss a very long and slow introduction before they left). We weren’t willing to separate them at that point and took both Jasmin and Kimber back. Since then, the adorable pair has been in a foster home so we could have some time to see how they do. Jasmin and Kimber are absolutely precious together and play, eat, and sleep close. We’d love for them to stay together! There is one other cat at Jasmin’s foster home and she does not seem to like her much. She’s fine with dogs as long as they respect her space.

Jasmin loves people and is ready to retire from motherhood and catch up on all the sleep she missed raising her kittens 😻😹 Jasmin purrs nonstop and comes right up to people. She was fostered with cat friendly small and big dogs and does well with them. She will give you all the love you could ask for 💓

At the start of the new year, we welcomed 10 senior cats who desperately needed a soft place to land. These sweet seniors are undersocialized and frightened, and they need patient, loving homes where they can finally feel safe. They all came from the same home and would likely adjust more easily with another feline companion by their side. If you have an open spot on your couch and room in your heart, please consider helping one of these cats spend their golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love!
