Story
Rosalita (Lita) is a Typical calico! Affectionate when it suits her, independent as can be! When she's NOT in the mood for humans, she simply scampers off to one of her favorite spots. Sometimes she asks for belly rubs, as she rolls onto her back and gives little squeeks to be petted. She loves to play, especially chasing the laser, and to watch out the window at the lizards and birds. Everything with Rosalita is on her terms! Lita, Bruce and their mom, Rosie, came to us when the babies were just three weeks old. They weren't in the best condition, but we got them super healthy and happy since they arrived on June 4, 2017. There are several reasons why they haven't been adopted yet - the most important is that their particular humans haven't shown up yet. Rosalita has been with us since 2017, because she normally isn't very receptive to visitors. It will take a special person to gain her love. For the longest time, the trio were never apart. We tried so hard to get them adopted together, to no avail. They've grown more independent of each other and now could be separated. DOB: 5/14/2017

Story
Cleopatra and her four siblings entered the world on the sidewalk of an apartment complex, born to a very young, abandoned cat we named Lady Diana. They were all brought to us with their mom, when the kittens were just one day old. All her kittens are sweet, love to play and are healthy and happy. Cleopatra started out very anti-social, but has come a long way in her attitude! She is now very social and welcomes attention. Her dramatic eyes and regal air befitting of her name. Her siblings are Julia, Fergie and Athena. Cleopatra is also fond of all the kittens in the nursery. While Cleopatra is particularly attached to her sister, Athena, she does like her alone time and possibly could go home solo, despite it being our policy that kittens be adopted in pairs. Story
Rosie came to us with her two newborns, Bruce and Rosalita. She's not particularly bonded to any of our cats, including her offspring. Rosie has a slight head tilt, that came on suddenly, but her vets cannot find a reason for it. She is a healthy and happy girl. She loves her canned food treats and will ask for it every morning. Rosie loves to watch the "wildlife" from the many windows and screened rooms, and she welcomes being petted by people SHE chooses. She's very smart, curious and has no bad habits. CHARACTERISTICS: Smart, Curious DOB: 12/15/16

Story
Beorne is such a happy and loving boy. He absolutely gets the fun started by running and chasing his foster friends. If the are not in the mood to play he will play with foster momma. He will be scared of new surroundings at first, but it won't be long before he is playing. He would definitely benefit by having a friend his age to play and grow with. ##2402578##

Story
I was just a kitten myself when I had my kittens! But I jumped right into the "mama" role and did a great job. Now it's MY turn to be a kitten! I love all the kitten games and love playing toys, too! I dont like to be carried around too much but do love following you around and telling you about my day. Then we can snuggle on the couch and watch my favorite shows. Doesnt that sound amazing? ##2409771##

Story
Ready for a real rescue "tug at the heartstrings" story? Meet Old Man. At just under 4 years old, he's not really "old" but his rescuers assumed he was much older when they found him outside their home in Seminole Heights. Beat up and FIV positive, but just the SWEETEST cat ever! He just wants love. You pick him up and he makes biscuits and purrs in your arms. You put him down and he winds around your legs. We've promised Old Man he'll never have to live outside, fighting for his life, again. We promised him there is someone out there who will love him and keep him safe. All our kittens and cats are special, but this guy just really embodies WHY we do what we do. Old Man is not a fan of dogs, and although FIV+ cats can live happily with FIV- cats, introductions must be slow and safe, as fighting is the only way the virus could be passed between them. ##2395905##
