Princess is a sweetheart. Princess was found as a weeks old very young kitten after a flood. She was rescued and bottle fed back to health by her loving owner. Tragically, Princess’ owner passed away in November 2022; a family member adopted Princess, but tragedy struck again and her new owner passed away the following month in December 2022. Princess is a sweet, shy, but playful kitty. She loves to play with toys and loves the companionship with other cats. She lives with three other cats and get along with all of them. She is very loving once she gets to know people. She has the sweetest tiny meow.

Roo was adopted at 6 weeks in 2020. Our dogs are used to cats and they got along for a little while. Through the years we have had two kids and though we have tried multiple different things Roo is still unhappy with the kids and dogs. I recommend she finds a home without small children or animals. She loves playing with cat toys, lasers, and anything she can bat around. She is very loving to adults and enjoys laying in sunny windows and cat towers.

My previous adopter had nothing but good things to say about me, and I have been known to be the sweetest girl who is soley interested in giving someone all of my love. Since I have come back into Fluff's care, I have been a little confused and down from not really understanding where I am quite yet, but my caretakers here at Fluff have been giving me all of their love while I do the same for them as I get more acclimated and comfortable. Somewhere in SW Florida, Ted's special person is just waiting to meet him. Ted started his stay at HSSC by hiding in his bed, eating at night and showing no interest in life at all. But no one gave up on him. After a couple weeks in foster getting one on one care, he is emerging. His lap sitting sessions are rewarded with little bits of chicken or tuna and LOTS of head, chin, and cheek rubs. In return, he gives purrs, hand butts with his head, and eye contact that says he's feeling the love. His body is no longer made of tense cement. What he needs now is to go right into someone's home to continue his wonderful progress. Going back to the shelter is not the answer for him.
