ADOPT SYLVIA!! A sweet & talkative kitty who needs a good home! 386-235-7097 This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: ** 386-235-7097 Cat located in this city: Port Orange Cat’s Name: Sylvia Cat’s Age & Sex: 2 years old. Female. Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed and vaccinated Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): We found Sylvia in my brothers neighborhood (lives 5 minutes away) a few months ago. He was feeding her but started working more and couldn't and she kept showing up at his house so we decided to go over there and feed there. Then we noticed her belly was bigger but had never seen a pregnant cat before and thought maybe she was pregnant - the next day my husband goes to feed her in the morning and she has had babies. They've all been adopted and we have kept Sylvia in our garage with air conditioning and she comes in our house sometimes when our dogs are away. We've tried to let them meet a few times but she really doesn't feel safe around dogs. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Sylvia is okay with being held, she has more of a personality when she doesn't seem to be stressed out (our dogs stress her out). She is sweet, talkative, chill. She's afraid of thunderstorms and likes to be comforted or either hide during them. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Sylvia has a plastic litter box right now, and she did sleep in a playpen with blankets but really decides to sleep anywhere in the garage. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Sylvia eats wet food twice a day. Sheba perfect portions. She also eats treats a couple times a day. She has a big appetite. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $10 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 386-235-7097

Story
Anya is a very loving and playful cat. She absolutely loves sting toys and cat trees, the taller the better. Her zoomies are absolutely adorable, she makes these squeaky noises as she runs around. I really hope this little princess can find a loving and playful home. (I believe she’d do best in a house with another cat)
