We have a happy update: KitKat is now safe with foster in Orlando but still need adoptive home! URGENT! This cat needs a miracle. Grandma is moving TONIGHT. KitKat cannot go and the family has reached out to us on her behalf. This is a problem that needs solving IMMEDIATELY. Here is an excerpt from their message: "The cat is overweight (don't know her exact weight), 9 years old, female calico. We are located currently in Orlando, Florida but are willing to drive up to wherever is needed to surrender her. We are not able to take her to Arkansas. She also does have some issues controlling her bladder sometimes. We unfortunately do not have the funds to take her to the vet either, and haven't for a while." We do not want this post to generate any negativity towards the family. We all know the feelings this gives us... but none of that will help KitKat. KitKat needs a safe plan B. She will need a vet. She has been on Purina One Indoor and she loves any canned food. She is spayed and chipped. Grandma adopted her 7 years ago. The family has said that OCAS or Pet Alliance can take her in a month, but Grandma never got on waiting list so there is no time, now. Cricket is unfortunately having to live in less than desirable situation while a better solution can be found. She is a friendly, outgoing five year old cat.But changes in the dynamics of her family have seen her lifestyle become less than ideal. My purr is strong and steady, especially when I’m kneading away in a cozy spot or getting some well-deserved attention. Cleanliness is important to me, especially when it comes to my paws. That said, grooming myself isn’t really my thing anymore—but don’t worry, I absolutely love being brushed. He’s very shy but friendly and likes being petted, healthy appetite , likes outdoors

Sweet playful and snuggly. Likes treats and gets along with everyone.

BORIS HAS BEEN ADOPTED. A couple weeks ago a beautiful sweet cat appeared outside our door. It was apparently lost. Trying to relocate the cat with its owner, we posted photo and description on local social media and received 160 responses. Sadly, the cat was not claimed. In the meantime, we took the cat to a Vet for scanning, health check up, and treatment of potential problems. No ID chip was found. Rabies vaccine was given, plus flea, tick, and parasite topical was applied. The neutered 2 year-old male is FIV+ and Leukemia - (neg). The Vet said that the cat is VERY HEALTHY and vigorous. It is BEAUTIFUL! VERY SWEET and well trained, VERY OBEDIENT as well. Follows us around like a pet dog and follows commands. We are unable to keep a pet, just wanted to reunite the cat with its owner and care for it temporarily. This animal is special and really deserves good home. BORIS HAS BEEN ADOPTED,
