Story
Elsa is a sweet, talkative girl. She isn’t very cuddly (unless she wants to be). She is beautiful and has beautiful colors! This is the last thing I ever want to do but unfortunately I cannot keep her. She lives with children and a dog. She has lived with another cat once and did pretty good. She minds her own. Not the biggest fan of change. Elsa would be the perfect addition to any home. She is good with my kids and has never hurt them.

Story
This is Moon. I rescued her out of an abandoned Monte Carlo many years ago, and she had kittens the next day! We have raised her for the last 10 years with her son (big grey one shown and also needing adopted) and estimate her to be 12. She is a very snuggly, outgoing, quiet, sweet cat. She comes out to say hello and greet people. She's lived in a home with many dogs and kids. She used to follow me when I'd take the dogs for a walk. She doesn't mind baths, or anything. In her recent years, she is content to stay inside. She is looking for a home to spend a couple more good years. Just had a full medical workup that she passed with flying colors and her last set of vaccines. I'm really needing help finding her a home as soon as possible to no fault of her own, but some significant life changes of my own. Please consider her!

Story
Meet Pearl! This pearl of a girl is a lovely Calico sweetie and aspiring massage therapist who loves to make biscuits on her blankies. Check out Pearl's kneading skills in action on her page on our website: https://www.summitdogrescue.org/meet-pearl.html Sadly, Pearl's owner recently died suddenly and unexpectedly. Now Pearl has found herself without a home due to no fault of her own. A kind neighbor took Pearl in to keep her warm and safe, and now Summit Dog Rescue is stepping in to help her find a warm, loving home where we feel she's got the potential to be the best kitty ever. Pearl is a bit shy at first with strangers (normal with kitties), but with patience and love she warms up and will be your best snuggly lap warmer! We're looking for a good adopter here in Colorado to make her safe. We will wait to have her see our vet before we adopt her out. If you have a calm and loving home to offer this beautiful girl, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.

These pups are in Fort Collins, Colorado too!

Story
Oliver: ~ 2 year old neutered male, $125 Oliver is an outgoing guy who loves pets! He will put his paws up on you and ask to be picked up. He will follow this with kisses! He is a typical cat that likes to eat, sleep, and PLAY! He doesn't like other animals, so needs a home to himself. He is obsessed with his tunnel and loves being up in his cat tree in the window. We don't think he would do well with small children that don't understand kitty boundaries, but he really is the sweetest boy. Oliver loves to be held and lay in your lap for lovins. He will spend a lot of time with you! He has a food allergy which is managed with Royal Canin PD. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet him in Ault. ##1651328##

Story
Sunshine: ~3 year old spayed female, $125 Sunshine is a little round pumpkin. She’s shy in a new home but settles in pretty quick and will even be greeting guests before long. She is a nap aficionado and will sleep on any soft surface. She likes to be near her people at all times, but prefers to be the only kitty. She would do fine with a calm older dog, but not one with energy. She doesn't enjoy being picked up/held, but likes her pets. She much prefers playing with a lost hair tie or forgotten piece of trash over any store bought toy! She may give a love bite if she doesn't get her way, but she's also just a little sweetie. Sunshine loves to perch on the couch for naps in the sun or to watch out the window, or sit in the sun and watch the bunnies in the backyard. She doesn't like being walked on a harness, but doesn't mind being walked in a stroller!! Sunshine does like to jump on the counter, but her fosters have been training her not to and she's doing better! She would do best with an experienced kitty person with no small children. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet this little chonk in Fort Collins! ##1715041##

Story
ADOPTION FEE: $25 TONY IS BONDED WITH CHEETO AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. Their total fee is $50. From his current foster, "Tony is a slow to warm up cat but once he knows you, he is all about laying in your lap and giving cat kisses/nibbles. He can be a little chatty in his own little way (he kinda squeaks). He has really enjoyed having other cats around, he seems more confident with them, so long as introductions are done properly. As you may be able to tell, he is a little cross eyed and it seems to give him a little bit of a problem with depth perception, but as long as nothing is approaching him too quickly, nor put anywhere too high without an easy to find way down, he's as cool as a cucumber. If you're looking for a calm cat to chill with on the couch or snuggle in bed with, Tony is your guy." Tony is a loving cuddle bug who is ready for his forever home. From his previous owner: Tony is the absolute sweetest boy ever who just loves to cuddle, take long naps, and run at Mach 5 all around the house. He is a big catnip enjoyer, along with any kind of wand toys or bell toys. We are a foster-based rescue and do not have kitties available to meet at our office. Kitties require meet and greets coordinated with their foster. Interested in this kitty? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs, puppies, and kitties from high-kill shelters in other states. These animals are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
