Mabel lost her human owner and during the recovery of his body, she was so confused that she ran out the door and was missing in the Rocky Mountains around Meeker for 2 months. Mabel's story is unique, and she needs your help! Though she has been recovered and is now stable in a foster home, the stress of life caused Mabel to begin to urinate outside her litterbox. After her vet work-up, she was diagnosed with sterile cystitis which is where there is no infection or bacteria, but the body is creating a stress hormone. The stress hormone causes the feline urinary lining to become inflamed and they can have changed in their bathroom habits. She is now on a urinary diet and taking a calming probiotic powder. *During the move to her new home, she may flare again and need the help of a Veterinarian who would prescribe another round of steroids for her. She is very low maintenance otherwise, and sweet! She wants to be around humans all the time, meows often, and rolls around!

Grace is 7 years old and spayed, shots up to date. She's not familiar with dogs and other cats. She's more feral than a homebody. Loves to be outside but comes in @night. Very sweet, her ear is clipped because she's feral. Last place I lived she had to stay in at all times. Reason says relocating but in reality I'm recently homeless. I have another one I'm going to put up for adoption as well. Grace isn't a cat to snuggle or pick up although she loves attention and especially combing and brushing. I can't stand giving them up but to keep them in my car or in an enclosure or carrier is cruel. It breaks my heart ... I hope to find someone who loves her as I do. I'll be leaving here upon finding homes for them. I love these cats with all my heart, but to keep them locked up is more cruel than my desire to be selfish. Benjamin is about 18 months old, curious, funny very playful. Does not like being picked up but will sit close, loves attention and playing with toys and we play I See You, he's so smart. The closest selection for rehoming was relocation, but I've recently become homeless, I can't stand either of my cats being locked up and not free to roam, it's been a long tough decision to do what's best for them. He's litter trained and I clean the box literally everyday. To put them back in the car would be devastating for them and myself. Ben looks like he might have blue Russian in him, just a beautiful boy. Please consider him for your family or yourself.
