Story
Mabel lost her human owner and during the recovery of his body, she was so confused that she ran out the door and was missing in the Rocky Mountains around Meeker for 2 months. Mabel's story is unique, and she needs your help! Though she has been recovered and is now stable in a foster home, the stress of life caused Mabel to begin to urinate outside her litterbox. After her vet work-up, she was diagnosed with sterile cystitis which is where there is no infection or bacteria, but the body is creating a stress hormone. The stress hormone causes the feline urinary lining to become inflamed and they can have changed in their bathroom habits. She is now on a urinary diet and taking a calming probiotic powder. *During the move to her new home, she may flare again and need the help of a Veterinarian who would prescribe another round of steroids for her. She is very low maintenance otherwise, and sweet! She wants to be around humans all the time, meows often, and rolls around!

Story
Wobble, affectionately called Sweet Girl, is a unique little black cat with short hair, white whiskers, pink toe beans, and mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Her motto is definitely, “I can do it!” This mantra is evident in her daily activities, much to the delight of her foster mom. Wobble doesn’t let her wobbles slow her down; she is fiercely independent and often looks annoyed if anyone suggests she can’t accomplish tasks independently. Whether it’s eating kibble or wet food, drinking water, using the litter box, or climbing a cat tree—Wobble approaches it all with determination: “I can do it!” And she indeed does! With her tiptoes, she can dart across the room with the careful grace of a water strider, reaching her desired spot with surprising speed. Wobble enjoys having her humans sit at her level. She enjoys casually leaning against your side or resting her head on your legs. Her favorite toys are those she can bat around and chase as she hops from side to side enthusiastically. When she gets excited, her tail puffs up and out like the cutest little antenna, and her wobbles increase—yet she never lets it get her down. If you’re looking for daily inspiration, consider inviting a little Weeble and Wobble into your home! She uses the litter box independently and can eat and drink independently. Aside from supervision on stairs, she doesn’t require special accommodations until she can navigate them safely on her own. Wobble is an ideal introduction if you’ve never had a cat with CH before!

Story
Milo was adopted as a kitten in 2019 at the Dumb Friends League. He is 5 years old and has always been a cuddly, playful cat. Milo loves when you throw hair ties and toys, use lasers, and let him sit on your lap. Milo can be a bit aggressive with people and has often hissed and tried to bite people other than his main (female) caregiver. When we brought our baby home, he started getting more aggressive, which is why we have to re-home him. My child has never grabbed him, pulled his fur, or hurt him in any way but is naturally curious about Milo and I have to be right next to them to make sure it is safe, which is not practical. I am now pregnant with another baby and in order to maintain the most safe environment for my children, I unfortunately have to find a new home for Milo. Milo has always been litter trained and does not have any health issues.
