Story
We have had Tilly since 8 weeks old. She’s a sweet girl and very playful. Unfortunately, our house is too chaotic with young children and we need to find her a calmer environment.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi I'm Dixie, a 17-year-old spayed DSH tabby female. I arrived at Safe Place several months ago after my owner died alone in her house. Unfortunately, I was left by myself for days at a time in a crate while the family commuted back and forth from another state to take care of necessary arrangements. This caused me to be quite afraid of people. The folks at Safe Place rescued me and after several months of kindness, patience and attention, I leaned to trust and feel safe again. I would do best in a low activity home without other dogs or cats. My favorite things include being brushed with the rubber brush, chasing a laser pointer, and sitting nicely next to you while you give me treats. I'm ready to find another human to be pals with. I'm an older gal but have recent vet visits and my test results show I'm in good shape for my age. Could you be the one to give me love and another home? My $50 adoption fee includes vaccinations, recent vet check, recent blood tests, and a microchip. Come meet me today. www.safeplacepets.org

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello. I'm Mitt Mitt, a 15 years young spayed female. The folks here at Safe Place say I'm a Torbie. That means I have tabby striping but Tortie coloring. I'm a petite girl at only 6 pounds but I have a big personality. I returned to Safe Place when my previous adopter passed away last year. The most recent vet visit found I'm Hyperthyroid. That means I have an overactive thyroid. Good news is the medication is easy to give...just rub it in my ear. I would do best in a home without other cats. I've never been around dogs or kids either. My $50 adoption fee includes FVRCP, Rabies, microchip, a new collar, and a months' worth of medication and food and a new collar. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello, I'm Sunny, a very special spayed female kitty, who's 15-years-young. The people at Safeplace love to chat with me in the morning, which is great, because I always have so much to say! When I first arrived in December and got my first taste of wet food, I knew I'd love it here. But now, I think I'm finally ready to move on and find my new family. Because of my age, I require a little more TLC than most, but I'm still a very confident, social and loving girl, so please be prepared to tell me about your day and give me lots of attention when you come home. Food and friendly faces are what makes my world go 'round! I need a lifelong partner in crime so I would do best in a small family home with a few children, or with a couple who has lots of love to give! As a disclaimer, my front paws are declawed and I have been identified to have a renal deficiency due to my age, but I don't let that slow me down one bit! My small $50 adoption donation includes the usual FVRCP, Rabies, FeLV/FIV test, which was negative, a microchip. a recent vet visit and a new collar. www.safeplacepets.org to complete an application today!
