Story
GiGi is sponsored by: Michael Snider SNAP Cats rescued GiGI from Palm Springs, CA. This girl is all Calico! And you know what THAT means. Sweet one minute; not so sweet the next. Age has mellowed her a bit, but she still has that edge that makes calicos, well, calicos. The perfect home? A calm, kid-free environment with a high perch and a window to watch the birds outside would be ideal. Oh, and wet food. GiGi LOVES wet food. Gotta have that! The right flavor, of course. Which varies from day to day. Of course. If you’re interested in May please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Story
Matilde is sponsored by: Alice Weigel SNAP Cats rescued Matilde from Mozambique, Africa. Matilde is a very sweet kitty. She’ll greet you when you come in the room, and solicit pets until it’s enough. She is a Calico after all. Matilde gets along well with other cats or will fit in nicely as an only cat. BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Matilde will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of her. Matilde's not aggressive toward other cats so there's no chance of her transmitting it. If you’re interested in Matilde please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.October 15, 2024, 5:39 pm

Story
Found all alone in Napa, Telly came to WCAL from an AT&T maintenance yard as an itty bitty baby who needed to be bottle-fed. You may have seen her on WCAL's social media! Telly is a petite little girl who is 100% athlete. There isn't a surface she can't reach! She's also smart and really fun to share a home with. Every once in a while, Telly even slows down enough to cuddle! She loves her humans and is an amazing young cat. Her foster family has nothing but great things to say about this beautiful and outspoken calico. We're looking for an adopter who agrees and won't mind providing a special diet and attentive care.We had some trouble weaning this little baby from a bottle onto canned food because she wasn't able to keep solids down at first. Telly was spayed and got a nose-to-tail sedated examination of her throat, esophagus, stomach, and intestines. No abnormalities or polyps or physical defects were found, but as she grew up a little bit, we noticed irritated red ulcers on her lips. Her vet confirmed with a biopsy that she's an extra sensitive girl who suffers from indolent ulcers (also called eosinophilic granulomas). These are not painful or itchy, but they can cause difficulty eating and we certainly don't want them to get infected or become a bigger issue for her. Luckily these small ulcers on the lips are usually caused by a food or flea allergy (both of which we can treat!) and this tracks with our observations about Telly's extra sensitive digestive system. She is now eating a special hydrolyzed diet and will need to continue monthly flea meds (even as an indoor-only kitty) to keep her feeling her very best. If you would enjoy sharing your home with an outspoken calico princess and don't mind feeding her a special diet to keep her feeling her best, then we have the kitten for you! This kitten is one of those extra special babies - the ones our volunteers have bottle-raised. Kittens raised by humans are extra comfortable around people and love attention. Since they didn't have the opportunity to be raised by a mama cat, they have zero street smarts and we are looking for a family who is committed to keeping them indoorsonlyfor life. Act fast if you'd like to have a WCAL bottle baby in your family. Follow us on social media for daily updates! Story
Sweet little Bean aka Butterbean, defies all Calico stereotypes and is nothing but sweetness rolled in sugar and dusted with love...with a cherry on top, too. She's all sugar and no spice and is known to shamelessly flirt so she can revel in all the attention and love anyone could give.  She loves affection, loves pets and is on Cloud 9 when she's on your lap.  Although she only has one eye, we know she finds the positive in it and sees it as an opportunity to permanently wink at you.  She's three years young and ready for a lifetime of love with her forever family. She gets along great with cats, too!  How much more perfect could she be? Adoption $200 We have two locations to view our kitties: Napa Petco. Sometimes kitties move locations or go into foster for a break. Please stop by to look at kitties any day, and then come into our adoption events on the weekends. If you want to confirm the location of the kitty in this listing, please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you! Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information at http://whiskerstailsandferals.org/.  -- Cat adoptions inside Napa Petco every Saturday - 1 to 4:00pm Visit our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/whiskerstailsandferals/December 16, 2024, 1:00 am

Story
Meet Rosie, a very loving little female calico. She is about 13 to 14 years old and just craves all types of love and affection. This girl adores treats and head scratches and will happily join you for a good movie or cozy up while you read. Fun fact: When Rosie was first adopted by her human she came with a name that didn’t suit her at all. Her human wanted to do right by her and so she waited until she got to know her better. As it turns out, Rosie was a bit “nosy” and would stick her nose in just about every cup that was on a table or counter top - it didn’t matter if it was coffee, water, or juice. Rosie was interested! So she initially became “Nosy Rosie” and then just sweet, lovable Rosie. Rosie’s human has come up on hard times and can’t keep her, despite very much wishing she could. All she wants is for Rosie to live her golden years in the best home possible, because Rosie deserves it. Interested in learning more about this sweet girl? Just reach out to Debbie at 415-548-0824 or email adoptions@jakesplacecatrescue.org. Rosie is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

Adoption Fees $200 for kittens up to one year $160 for cats over one year All cats have been: -  Spayed/neutered -  FVRCP vaccinated -  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults) -  Dewormed -  Flea treated -  Microchipped Boo and Ace Meet Boo and Ace—a sister and brother who are in desperate need of their final loving home.    These two sweethearts were rescued from a bush when they were 10 days old, and they have been loved and handled every day since.    Their foster mom fell in love with them and intended to keep them forever, but the resident cat in the house was violently opposed to that idea, and it has become dangerous for them to all be in the house together.    They are now 6 months old, and it is clear that there is no alternative other than to rehome them.                 These siblings are strongly bonded and must be adopted together.    Boo and Ace must be indoor cats, because they have not been outside since they were rescued and have no outdoor survival skills.      With most rescue kittens, you don’t know what their personality will be, but not with these two!    Boo and Ace are loving, friendly, sweet, and enjoy nothing more than sitting on a lap.    They would make perfect companions for an older person or best friends for a younger person.                 Everything needed to welcome them into your home will be provided by their foster mom—a cat tower, beds, bowls, toys, food and litter.    They are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated.
