Story
Meet Karaoke, the ultimate bundle of high-energy fun! This playful little dynamo absolutely loves wand toys and can jump and play for hours on end. With a personality that thrives in active homes, Karaoke enjoys being around both kids and other cats, making her the perfect fit for a lively family. While she’s still a bit shy and doesn’t always ask for attention, if you initiate playtime, she’s all in, ready to pounce and entertain. Karaoke likes to be held for a bit, but once she’s ready, she’ll wriggle free to get back to what she loves most—playing! She's nonstop fun and will bring endless joy to a household that can match her energy. Karaoke also has an adorable habit of curling up for naps on top of a large stuffed dinosaur, adding even more charm to her playful personality. After all that jumping and playing, she enjoys a cozy rest with her favorite plush companion. If you're looking for an active, fun-loving kitten who also knows how to relax in style, Karaoke is the one for you! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptNovember 29, 2024, 1:14 pm

Story
Callie short for calliope , she’s 3-4 years old , I don’t believe she’s has any vaccines or anything, she has a lot of fleas and is bleeding all around her from scabs , rescued her from one of my family members that moved out left her in a room for months so she’s very timid and scared . She’s hides a lot and barely lets me touch her but when she does she’s very cuddly , I’ve had her for almost a week now and can’t keep her any longer due to my small apartment and I already have 3 cats of my own it’s hard to separate them. She’s deserves love and attention and for someone to help her become a beautiful girl. I personally feel like she’s very traumatized when I look at her and I feel like I’m out of my depth. I want her to go to someone experienced that can truly help her . I believe she has the ability to be an amazing cat like she once was when I last saw her when she was a kitten .

Story
Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 14-year-old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household. Story
Maya was found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Half Moon Bay. She was in a carrier with another cat, 2 beds and bowls but no other information. Maya is about 6 years old and healthy but needed a dental which she came through like a champ! Maya's fur coloring is really unique. One side and her head and tail are beautifully colored in browns, oranges and black. Her other side is pure white. It is as if she was born before the powers that be were finished painting the other half of her body. Maya loves attention. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does like to get petted and holds up her end of a conversation. She loves to garner all the attention so it would be best if Maya was an only kitty in her home. Is your family looking for a beautiful blue-eyed princess to be a companion for your family? Maya is waiting for you. Please note: Maya would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1734854510&src=aap]

Story
Introducing Callie, a beautiful calico female cat. Rescued from life on the streets, this gentle soul with a soft, multicolored coat of orange, black, and white is now searching for a loving forever home. At about 2 years old, Callie has adapted remarkably to indoor living, yet she's still learning the comforts and safety of being a cherished house cat. Her calm demeanor makes her an ideal companion for quiet evenings, but she may need a little extra patience and gentle encouragement as she continues to discover the joys of indoor life. Callie is in excellent health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed. Callie is slowly warming up to more active household environments. Given her background, she thrives in a peaceful setting where she can explore at her own pace. If you’re looking for the world's calmest and most mild-mannered companion, Callie might just be the perfect match. Come meet her and see how far she’s come—she’s ready to find her place in your calm and loving home. Call Brian at 510 455-0252. https://youtube.com/@califromcalifornia?si=82QOBvqRy5wIP1aZ

Story
Frankie has a resilience and zeal for life that will capture your heart. She is so much more than her origin story but to understand where she is today, we have to acknowledge how far she has come. Frankie was shot with a pellet gun and some of the pellet fragments were lodged into her spine. Despite great efforts and surgery, Frankie remains semi-paralyzed in her back legs. This does not slow Frankie down in the least! Wind up a toy and watch Frankie go go go! She zips around with the zoomies like any cat, and chases toys and shadows like a pro. Frankie likes to join her foster Mom on the couch or climb up into her cat tree. Frankie adores being a big/little foster sister to animals of all kinds and would do well in an active home. Nothing stops this adventurer! Except maybe bedtime with her person, she loves to share the bed or couch.    Caring for Frankie requires some experience with cats, or at least the willingness to learn! She will need to continue her low-level physical therapy routine which consists of relaxing and adorable leg massages. Frankie can't totally control when she goes to the bathroom due to her paralysis. To help with this, her bladder is expressed three times a day. Her future adopter will need to commit to properly caring for Frankie's needs while understanding they may change in the future. Frankie eats out of a slow feeder to help keep her weight at a healthy level, that we would also be happy to provide.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Ginger might do best with a mellow male cat as a friend or as an only cat. She is vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. Story
Bindi is a sweet girl with a beautiful gray marble tabby and white coat. She was rescued with her sisters from under a freeway overpass. Bindi is shy around new people at first, so she would do best with someone who is experienced with cat body language and behavior. Once she's comfortable and settled in she's a real love bug. She likes to play with toys and be pet, but prefers not to be picked up. She is laid back and would do well in a quiet home with no children, and someone who will give her a lot of love. She would also do best as an only cat. Bindi loves the catio her foster mom built! This allows her to enjoy the outdoors safely, while inside a large, enclosed area. s to be pet and play with toys. She's not outgoing with strangers. Once she's comfortable, she's mellow and likes to lay around a lot. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. This cat is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at courtesy@thedancingcat.org.  November 6, 2024, 10:11 am
