Hello my name is Velvet! Black Velvet! And just like velvet I am smooth and soft and comforting. I purr the minute you run your hand along the softness of my fur. But when I play, look out! I play like no one's watching! As soon as that fishing pole with the funny bird that doesn't fly very well comes out I catch that bird and run with it! And when I'm done, I'm smooth and soft as Velvet again. I will comfort you and keep you warm in the cold winter months. Just try me, I'll be your lap cat if you only ask my foster mom! Tell her how great you'll be and how much you want me and I will make you happy. I promise!

What would the humans say about me? Well, first of all, just look at my face! I think they'd say, isn't she a pretty kitty? Doesn't she look just like a Picasso painting? I think that's why they named me Picassa. I don't know even know what a Picasso painting is, but the way they say that, I just know it's something good! What they forget is that I'm not just a pretty face! I'm pretty all over! I was born that way but in a not so good place. I could have been eaten by coyotes or run over by a car before they brought me here to a place called foster care. Here I don't have to hide in bushes and get to lay on soft cushions and eat yummy food! But like a princess in a tower, I'm looking out at the world from only one room. I like being inside but if I'm to keep my girlish figure I'm going to need more room to exercise! I don't do zoomies anymore as that's just for babies, but I still like to watch birds from a window and catch that bird at the end of a stick, and I'm really, really good at that! Want to see? I could show you but first you'll have to ask my foster mom if you could have me. If you tell her how great my life with you could be, I'm sure she could be convinced. Would you please? Sprinkles was bought by us a Family of 3 from the local animal shelter. She was so shy that her cage said she wouldn't want to play due to shyness. It took weeks for her to warm up to us but once she did she never backed down. She loves to play with my husband and hides and will chase you. She absolutely loves getting pet. She doesn't meow and only ever has once or twice. She purs super loud though. She's curious and good with kiddos. Sometimes she swats at my almost 3 year old but it takes a lot of toddler annoyance for her to do that. I'm looking for a couple or a family with older cats who will love and pet Sprinkles whenever she wants. She is the most adorable cat ever and we hope she finds a beautiful home.

Born 5/1, they have been in foster care getting socialized after being rescued from an outside feral colony. Ginger is a beautiful tortie and is a work in progress. She's spicy, curious and sits back and observes everything. Mattie is a tabico and is very sweet, gentle and mellow. Teddy is a grey tabby male. He's friendly, outgoing and a lover boy. Home to Home Program Contact: Allison at 209-846-4034 Boots and May are about one year old spayed females. Boots is a mostly black DSH with little white paws, and May is a beautiful calico. They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes.
