Story
Meet Monkey, a truly special kitty with a heart full of love to give! Monkey was deeply cherished by her late owner, who asked that she never go to a shelter. We’re now searching for the perfect forever home to honor that wish and give her the peace and happiness she deserves. Monkey is in great health, with no known medical issues, though she’s a bit sensitive around the base of her tail. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. In a multi-cat household, stress has caused her to spray in the past, but she has been stress-free and spray-free in a space where she feels safe and secure. Monkey is an introvert at heart, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful personality shines through. She loves being near her human, offering quiet companionship on her own terms. When she trusts you, she’ll walk alongside you with curiosity and affection, looking into your eyes as if to say, “Can I trust you?” She is gentle, thoughtful, and w

Story
Her Story: Cornelia started her life at a heavy equipment plant, along with other kittens who were also born there. Her standout physical feature is the star on her forehead. If there was a yearbook for cats, Cornelia would be voted least photogenic. The camera just doesn't capture her cuteness. Her standout personality trait: Corny can be possessive when it comes to playing with toys! That peacock feather is hers and hers alone! She hits home runs every time she bats at the bead toy! There's no better batter than her! Energy level: During playtime, HIGH! Want to meet Cornelia? Send us an email and we will respond with some questions to better get to know you before deciding on a good time for a meet and greet. We deliver all of our adoptable pets to their new home. We serve most of the 530 and 916 area codes. We do not charge an adoption fee and ask only for a donation to help offset some of our costs. All of our adoptable pets are fully vetted and ready and waiting for their new loving homes! We look forward to hearing from YOU!

Home to Home Program Contact: Allison at 209-846-4034 Boots and May are about one year old spayed females. Boots is a mostly black DSH with little white paws, and May is a beautiful calico. They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes. If interested please contact Allison at 209-846-4034

Adoption Fees $200 for kittens up to one year $160 for cats over one year All cats have been: -  Spayed/neutered -  FVRCP vaccinated -  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults) -  Dewormed -  Flea treated -  Microchipped Boo and Ace Meet Boo and Ace—a sister and brother who are in desperate need of their final loving home.    These two sweethearts were rescued from a bush when they were 10 days old, and they have been loved and handled every day since.    Their foster mom fell in love with them and intended to keep them forever, but the resident cat in the house was violently opposed to that idea, and it has become dangerous for them to all be in the house together.    They are now 6 months old, and it is clear that there is no alternative other than to rehome them.                 These siblings are strongly bonded and must be adopted together.    Boo and Ace must be indoor cats, because they have not been outside since they were rescued and have no outdoor survival skills.      With most rescue kittens, you don’t know what their personality will be, but not with these two!    Boo and Ace are loving, friendly, sweet, and enjoy nothing more than sitting on a lap.    They would make perfect companions for an older person or best friends for a younger person.                 Everything needed to welcome them into your home will be provided by their foster mom—a cat tower, beds, bowls, toys, food and litter.    They are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato. Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org If you can't wait until then to meet any cat or kitten, contact catinfo@catalesrescue.org. Story
Brief BioMurphy is 6-month old male gray kitten. He is looking for a forever home with a patient, loving adopter. He`s been in foster for 4-5 weeks to work on his people skills. You`ll notice he has an ear tip, as we weren`t sure if he`d warm up to new people. He`s still working on his confidence but he`s come a long way! He`s eating Hills Science Diet dry food and gets wet food as an occassional treat. He`s a litter box champ!Summary of PersonalityMurphy aka `Boeing` is a quite shy boy. He earned the nickname `Boeing` because his initial response is lay his ears out flat like airplane wings. The foster still gets an occassional hiss when Murphy is feeling unsure. But it`s all for show. The foster can still pet and encourage Murphy without no issues. Murphy does like to play with toys that he can n bat around and chase. He`s still deciding if he likes wand toys or not; right now he backs away from them. You can pick Murphy up if needed, but it`s not his favorite thing. Murphy will need a very patient adopter who understands shy kittens and is willing to meet him where he is and allow him to get comfortable and confident in his new surrounding.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc)Murphy has only been around another kitten that came in with him. Murphy would do best as an only cat or being adopted with Stubby and Patches. He was not comfortable when the resident cat would try to sneak in the house. Murphy would also do better in a home with adults only. He would most likely do well with older children with proper slow introductions using calming voices initially. Won`t you give Murphy a chance to show you what a great cat he can be?Is your foster litter box trained?Yes

Story
Brief BioStubby is 5-month old male kitten that got his name from his short tail. He is looking for a forever home with a patient, loving adopter. He`s been in foster for 4-5 weeks to work on his people skills. You`ll notice he has an ear tip, as we weren`t sure if he`d warm up to new people. He`s come a long way in a very short time and is quite affectionate! He`s eating Hills Science Diet dry food and gets wet food as an occassional treat. He`s a litter box champ!Summary of PersonalityStubby is an absolute purr monster once you gain his trust. He is initially shy and unsure around new people, surroundings, and sounds. He`s quite playful and likes playing with things he can bat around and chase. He`s still deciding if he likes wand toys or not. You can pick Stubby up and he`ll hold onto your shoulder. You can feel him start to relax once you pet him. Once Stubby gets comfortable around you and his surroundings, his true loving and adventurous side will come out. He adores being pet and getting ear scratches. He would love to get adopted with his brother, Patches.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc)Stubby has only been around his brother and another kitten that came in with him. He did well with the teenager in the house, once he got used to him and learned to trust him. With proper slow, supervised introductions, I think Stubby would warm up to other animals and definitely people. A calm, quieter home would be the best setting for Stubby initially until he adjusts, and recommend only older children. Is your foster litter box trained?Yes
