Home to Home Program Contact: Allison at 209-846-4034 Boots and May are about one year old spayed females. Boots is a mostly black DSH with little white paws, and May is a beautiful calico. They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes. If interested please contact Allison at 209-846-4034

Story
Meet Monkey, a truly special kitty with a heart full of love to give! Monkey was deeply cherished by her late owner, who asked that she never go to a shelter. We’re now searching for the perfect forever home to honor that wish and give her the peace and happiness she deserves. Monkey is in great health, with no known medical issues, though she’s a bit sensitive around the base of her tail. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. In a multi-cat household, stress has caused her to spray in the past, but she has been stress-free and spray-free in a space where she feels safe and secure. Monkey is an introvert at heart, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful personality shines through. She loves being near her human, offering quiet companionship on her own terms. When she trusts you, she’ll walk alongside you with curiosity and affection, looking into your eyes as if to say, “Can I trust you?” She is gentle, thoughtful, and w

Story
Her Story: Cornelia started her life at a heavy equipment plant, along with other kittens who were also born there. Her standout physical feature is the star on her forehead. If there was a yearbook for cats, Cornelia would be voted least photogenic. The camera just doesn't capture her cuteness. Her standout personality trait: Corny can be possessive when it comes to playing with toys! That peacock feather is hers and hers alone! She hits home runs every time she bats at the bead toy! There's no better batter than her! Energy level: During playtime, HIGH! Want to meet Cornelia? Send us an email and we will respond with some questions to better get to know you before deciding on a good time for a meet and greet. We deliver all of our adoptable pets to their new home. We serve most of the 530 and 916 area codes. We do not charge an adoption fee and ask only for a donation to help offset some of our costs. All of our adoptable pets are fully vetted and ready and waiting for their new loving homes! We look forward to hearing from YOU!

Story
We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Please fill out an application ASAP for priority consideration (link at the bottom). See why we are different from other rescues & Shelters! ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Hi there, my name is Jasper! I’m the one with the wide, beautiful eyes! I typically have an easy-going personality, but when its play time, I’m ready to use my kitten energy playing, chasing, and wrestling with my two siblings (Jace and Jacqui). Toys also get me going and I’m an equal-opportunity enjoyer of all cat toys. I’ve also been known to walk around with small toys (e.g. balls, springs) in my mouth. I am curious about the outside world, so I like to climb the cat tree in my room so that I can get on the window sill and look outside. I like being held as well as getting attention and will purr to show my appreciation. When I meet new people I like to observe them from a safe distance before I approach them. Once I know that you can be trusted I will open up and let you see my true personality. I think I’d be a great addition to just about any home; and, if you are thinking about adding more than one kitten to you home, perhaps Jace and/or Jacqui could come along as well? ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care!
