NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive up to 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.  Adoption Fee: $250 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. NALA Nala IS LOVELY!! She is friendly, affectionate and gentle cat who is people oriented and loves to snuggle in her bed or a nice sunny spot by the window. She is quiet, independent, a perfect lounge kitty who adores a gentle pat, a warm, cozy bed and endless food bowl! Nala is looking for a home that will appreciate her sweetness and shower her with love & food! She is an intelligent cat, aware of her surroundings, and keeps herself entertained when alone. She gets a little spunky at times and likes to bat around a few toys. She does not like to be picked up but LOVES being pet & given chin & head scratches. Nala is looking for a quiet home and would prefer to be the only cat in the household as she gets annoyed by playful kittens but seems to be okay with older cats that mind their own business. Nala was found wandering the streets during a heavy rain storm. She was skin & bones and her fur was completely matted. Her collar was hanging very loosely from her neck. NALA IS FULLY VETTED & IN GREAT HEALTH!!! She is NEGATIVE for FeLV, FIV (Aids, Leukemia) & heartworms. The vet estimated Nala to be about 8-10 years old. Nala had a hernia that was repaired during her spay surgery. This poor girl had never been fixed and has most likely had over 10+ litters of kittens. Very upsetting to think no one cared enough for this sweetheart to get her fixed. Nala has been a very happy, well cared for kitty since coming to rescue. AURORA Birthday 9-11-2023 Meet the PURR-FECT sweet, quiet & PETITE kitty who just wants love! Aurora was just 7 months old when she gave birth to 4 kittens. Unfortunately, only 1 of her kittens (Cosmo) survived. Auroura is a very sweet little girl just wanting love. She was brought into rescue just 2 days after giving birth. She of course, was scared of course, as she has never been loved and care for! Now Aurora greets you in the morning for pets, bumps & loves. She doesn't mind being picked up once trust is established. She really just wants a home where she can cuddle on the bed with her human and sleep away. Aurora has adjusted nicely to indoor life. OH.... she comes with her own lucky "cat's tail" as one day the tip of her tail fell off as a result of an old injury. She has so much love to give, your heart & home will be filled with happiness! JULY This little girl is a little shy at first but a very sweet once comfortable. She has a soft purr and often found cuddling with her sister June. We adopted Sprinkles as a kitten from Pets and Pals in Livermore, CA in August of 2020. We went for her but took Sprinkles and her brother, Mr. Big, home. Sprinkles was very shy and has halways been the less social of the two cats. I think this is her problem. She isn't happy in our house because it's just too chaotic. We have lots of family gatherings, a 5-year-old that is loud and we adopted a Great Pyrenees last year. Sprinkles, has started urinating on our couch and mats. It will go away for a bit but then come back. We have tried everything. We tried the vet, meds, calming plug ins, changed her litter box a few times. Bottom line is I think she needs a quiter more calm house. She never attacks or scratches and is a very sweet kitty. I don't think she would urinate like she does if she was in a calmer environment. We hate to give her up because we love her but I think for her, she would be happier in a calmer environment.
