Story
Meet Breakfast Burrito at the Caffeinated Cat Cafe in Grover Beach! Breakfast Burrito is a tuxedo kitten with a heart as soft as his fur—which is saying something, because this boy’s coat is unbelievably silky. He’s a snuggler through and through: lap time, cuddle time, nap time… if it involves being close to you, he’s all in. He’s just as affectionate with other cats and loves curling up with furry friends. Burrito is playful, smart, and enjoys meeting new people. He thrives with companionship, so he’ll need a home with at least one friendly resident cat to keep him company. He’s house trained, has great manners, and brings a calm, sweet energy wherever he goes. And with those adorable tuxedo markings, Breakfast Burrito is always dressed for a formal dinner—though he fully supports serving breakfast at any hour. Good With: Cats ✔️ Kids ✔️ Dogs ❓ (likely fine—he’s very easygoing) If you’re looking for a loving, gentle, people-oriented kitten who wants nothing more than friends and snuggles, Breakfast Burrito is your guy.

Story
Meet Irish! Irish is a reserved, gentle boy who just needs a little time to realize you’re his person. Once he warms up, his sweet personality shines—especially around other cats. He has excellent kitty manners and absolutely loves to snuggle, wrestle, chase, and play with feline friends before curling up for a cozy nap. Polite and never demanding, Irish is an ideal companion for someone looking for a friend for their resident cat—especially if you're away from home often. He’ll keep your kitty entertained, comforted, and loved. Of course, he’d do well in many types of homes, but he truly thrives when he has another cat to bond with. Irish would also do fine with patient, gentle children or calm dogs after a proper acclimation period. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, well-mannered buddy for your cat, Irish might be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Tommy the Cat — the Sweetest Survivor Tommy is a very special older gentleman who came to us from the San Bernardino Municipal Shelter just before he was scheduled to be put to sleep. When he arrived, he was weak, sick, and covered in road tar. With gentle baths, fluids, nutritious food, and lots of veterinary care, Tommy slowly came back to life. Today, Tommy is thriving! His upper respiratory infection has cleared, and he’s had a full dental cleaning with any problem teeth removed. He truly is a whole new cat. ❤️ Tommy’s Personality Tommy is incredibly affectionate and loves being held and petted. He’ll press his forehead against your cheek while he purrs—his sweet way of saying thank you for saving him. He’s also a fan of cozy naps in his soft, fluffy bed by the heater. Peaceful, gentle moments are his favorite. 🩺 About Tommy’s FIV+ Status Tommy has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Here’s what that means: FIV affects a cat’s immune system, but many cats live long, happy, normal lives with it. There is no cure, but there is excellent management: good nutrition, routine vet care, and a stress-free indoor life. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs. It is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds—not through sharing beds, bowls, or grooming. 🏡 What Kind of Home Is Best for Tommy? Tommy could live with: No other cats (ideal since he’s more susceptible to illness), or Other FIV+ cats, or Calm, non-FIV cats who get along and are vaccinated and stay indoors. With a loving home and proper care, Tommy can enjoy many more years filled with love, companionship, and comfort.
