Story
Boshbosh is a 4.5 year old cat that I adopted from a pet shelter when she was 7 weeks old. She’s a sweet loving cat who likes to cuddle at nighttime. She is an indoor only cat and has anxiety about leaving her environment and being around strangers outside her home (for this reason needs an experienced adopter) My husband and I are both extremely busy. I noticed her litter box habits changed since I started working. She’s occasionally peeing outside the box when we’re not home. I know she gets lonely and that’s part of the reason. She has an automatic and manual litter boxes.

Story
Stella is a very affectionate, playful and human centered cat. She enjoys a nice head scratch and belly rub. She can adjust to new environments quickly. I move quite a lot for work and she travels well by car or plane. She adjusts pretty well to the new places we stay. No behavioral issues and she is litter box trained.

Story
Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 14-year-old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household. Story
Maya was found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Half Moon Bay. She was in a carrier with another cat, 2 beds and bowls but no other information. Maya is about 6 years old and healthy but needed a dental which she came through like a champ! Maya's fur coloring is really unique. One side and her head and tail are beautifully colored in browns, oranges and black. Her other side is pure white. It is as if she was born before the powers that be were finished painting the other half of her body. Maya loves attention. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does like to get petted and holds up her end of a conversation. She loves to garner all the attention so it would be best if Maya was an only kitty in her home. Is your family looking for a beautiful blue-eyed princess to be a companion for your family? Maya is waiting for you. Please note: Maya would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1731888104&src=aap]

Story
Maple is a sweet, shy girl who’s looking for a patient and loving home. She may take a little time to come out of her shell, but with some gentle encouragement (and a few tasty churros!), she’ll warm up to you in no time. Maple loves her quiet moments and feels most at ease in a calm environment. Once she trusts you, her gentle purrs and soft cuddles will make every moment spent together worth it. She’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the beauty of slow bonds and quiet afternoons. If you’re ready to give Maple the loving home she deserves, she’ll be forever grateful!

Story
We took Luna and Jamaica when their owner lost her housing. She found a place, but it doesn't allow cats. So we are looking for new owners! Both are large. Luna is very friendly and affectionate. Jamaica is VERY shy - she might hide for a week or more when you take her. There are fleas, and we probably won't solve that problem before passing them on. (I guessed at the breed - because it was a required field)

These pups are in Pacifica, California too!

Story
Hey there, I'm Dean, but my friends call me Triton, your companion in resilience with a spirit that knows no bounds! Life threw me a curveball when I had a little run-in with a car, but let me tell you, I'm not one to back down. My femur was broken, and at first, they thought they might have to amputate. But I had a surprise in store for everyone – I healed up faster than a speeding bullet. Now, I'm back on my paws, ready to run, play, and purr with the best of them! Don't let my initial shyness fool you – underneath that cool exterior is a genuine cuddle bug just waiting for the right human to open their heart to me. It might take me a little time to warm up, but once I do, get ready for a symphony of purrs and an abundance of affection.  When it comes to playtime, I'm a total pro. I'm always up for some feline frolic with my brother from another mother Sam. Other cats are my kind of buddies, and I'm always up for a game of chase or a friendly tussle. Life's unexpected twists have only made me stronger, and I'm here to prove that love and resilience can conquer all. If you're in search of a one-of-a-kind companion who knows the true meaning of courage, then you're looking at him. Apply now to be part of my journey. Together, we'll show the world that nothing can keep a determined spirit like mine down! #MeetDeanTheUnstoppable #ResilienceRules #TuxedoTriumph ##1789023##

Story
For more photos and videos please see our website www.hdbnqrescue.org/queens Introducing Jane, the purrfect tuxedo momma cat with a heart of gold! Meet Jane, the epitome of sweetness wrapped in a tuxedo coat! As a devoted mama cat, Jane not only takes exceptional care of her little ones but also spreads love wherever she goes. Her gentle demeanor and affectionate nature make her a cherished member of our rescue family. Jane's favorite pastime? Well, it's a tie between snuggling on her foster mom's lap and indulging in some quality playtime with feather chasers. When she's not busy doting on her kittens, you'll often find her basking in the warmth of human affection, showering her foster family with purrs and cuddles. Litterbox trained and overflowing with affection, Jane is a true gem of a companion. She's not just good with cats and dogs; she's exceptional at forming bonds, especially with a bit of patience during introductions. With Jane by your side, you'll experience the unwavering love and loyalty only a mama cat like her can offer. If you're looking for a furry friend to share your days with, Jane is ready to fill your life with endless cuddles, playful antics, and boundless affection. Come meet Jane, and let her steal your heart away with her charming personality and loving spirit! Jane's Backstory:  Jane was a loving momma cat, fiercely devoted to her kittens. She would venture out to hunt, always returning swiftly to nurse and care for her babies. But one evening, as she approached her nest, eager to reunite with her kittens, her world was turned upside down. A trap had been set, and before she could reach her little ones, Jane found herself caught, helpless and unable to return to her family. While Jane was brought to a shelter, her heart was heavy with worry for the kittens she had left behind. She could still hear their tiny mews in her mind, and her instincts to care for them were overwhelming. But back at the shelter, there was an unexpected twist in her story. The shelter staff, aware of Jane’s maternal instincts, had two newborn kittens in desperate need of a mother. They had been orphaned, left with no one to nurse them or keep them warm.  Recognizing the opportunity, the shelter staff carefully introduced the newborns to Jane. Despite the pain of losing her own babies, Jane’s motherly instincts took over. She immediately began grooming the tiny orphans, purring softly to soothe them, and soon after, she was nursing them as if they were her own. In that moment, Jane found new purpose. The loss she had suffered was still there, but now she had these two new lives depending on her. She gave them the love, warmth, and care they needed to survive. Jane’s story is one of resilience, love, and the incredible power of a mother’s instinct. Though her path took an unexpected turn, she found a way to heal through helping others. Her tale reminds us that even in the face of adversity, there is always hope for a new beginning, especially when compassion and care are involved.   ##2006430##
