1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). Introducing Phoebe! Sweet Phoebe, a confident and friendly five month old kitten with a loving, playful personality. Phoebe warms up quickly to new people and will grab your attention with her tiny meow when she wants some love and cuddles. She has a favorite blanket that she likes to cuddle on while making biscuits and napping with her human. She’s gentle, affectionate and gives kisses. Phoebe also enjoys interactive fun with wand toys and often chatters at the moving laser light. Churu squeezable treats are irresistible and will always get her attention. Phoebe gets along well with the resident cats in her foster home. She hasn't been raised with kids, however given her easygoing personality, she’d likely adjust well with appropriate introductions. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who will bring lots of love and cuddles to your family, Phoebe is ready and waiting for her forever home. Older kittens are preferable to adopt because you KNOW what their personality is going to be- no surprises- Sometimes the sweet cuddly baby kittens turn into aloof punks and vice versa! So this is a much safer decision! ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***FOOD: Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***POST ADOPTION SUPPORT It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
Rosie is a special cat. Born to a Persian cat gifted to my sister, Rosie was one of four kittens, but only she survived. At six weeks old, my sister gave her to our family. Rosie’s healthy, though she had UTI symptoms after we moved from Texas to California. After vet care and special food, she recovered quickly. Rosie isn’t cuddly but enjoys sleeping by me. She gets scared easily and doesn’t like being picked up by strangers. Recently, after being startled while sleeping, she panicked and attacked me. Though I understand her instincts, I’m heartbroken to consider rehoming her. With a child and another on the way, I can’t risk this happening again. She deserves a loving home where her boundaries are respected. She’s low-maintenance, sweet, and just needs someone who’ll respect her space and offer her a calm environment.

Story
Home to Home Program Contact: Allison at 209-846-4034 Boots and May are about one year old spayed females. Boots is a mostly black DSH with little white paws, and May is a beautiful calico. They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes. If interested please contact Allison at 209-846-4034

Home to Home Program Contact:: Brianna Magner at 609-432-2351 or magner.bri@gmail.com Meet Poppy! Name: Poppy Age: 1-2 years old Fixed: no Vaccines: rabies, FVCRP, and microchip (to be registered by new owner) Currently on Nexgard Tested negative for internal parasites and FELV/FIV antibody Bio: Hi everyone! This sweet little girl is named Poppy (after the California state flower). She showed up on our porch after most likely being dumped by her previous owners. She immediately asked for pets and came right inside when we opened the door to her. She always has to be in the same room as you and is very vocal (she loves being talked to). She has the cutest patch of black fur under her chin that gives her a constant look of surprise. She uses her litter box and sleeps through the night (usually cuddled up next to you in bed). Please contact Brianna Magner at 609-432-2351 or magner.bri@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting sweet Poppy!
