She was originally a stray that was befriended after having a litter of kittens. Even though the shelter can be overwhelming, she has remained her calm self and doesn't mind her other cat roommates. NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive up to 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.  Adoption Fee: $250 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. HI everyone, we would like to introduce you to Dolly. Born on April 11th 2024 to Momma Janet, Dolly is one of 5 kittens from the litter. Dolly is already fixed, up to date on all shots and eating Purina One Kibble with the occasional can of Purina One Soft Food mixed in. Dolly is extremely affectionate and loves attention, but is also not afraid to play alone with one of her favorite toys. We often find her on the windowsill watching birds outside but have also found her putting one of her litter mates in a headlock, sooooo, yeah she is playful too! All the kittens from Dollys Litter are extremely socialized, are comfortable in arms and with affection, and in fact will seek you out for rubs and cuddles. Butterfly is a high energy girl who will keep you laughing with her antics. She LOVES ball towers, chasing balls all over the house, and of course wand toys. She can parkour up a wall, launch from bed to dresser, and boy you only THINK that wand toy is out of reach - hiiiiiiii-YA! She's got it! Hour of entertainment just watching her entertain herself, twice the fun if you play along. Butterfly gets along with other cats IF they are not irritated by her kittenish antics - a much better fit for younger "teens" like herself (or energetic young adults) than as a companion to a senior cat. I am heartbroken to have to rehome my sweet cat, Jewel, but due to my pregnancy and upcoming relocation overseas, I am unable to take her with me. Jewel is 3 years old, healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She has been a wonderful companion, and it’s important to me that she finds a loving home where she can continue to thrive. Jewel is gentle, affectionate, and loves to lounge in sunny spots. She does well with other cats and is used to a calm, indoor environment. This decision has not been easy, but I want to ensure she goes to a home where she will be cared for and loved as much as she has been with me. Paulina is a great little Tuxedo kitty that was born around October of 2023. She is very mellow and would be great for someone who prefers a pet that doesn't disturb their peace and quiet. She has been living in a home with other cats and enjoys their company, so would be a wonderful companion cat as well. She is litterbox trained, vaccinated and microchipped. We were told that she was used to being around dogs as well, but she more than likely will run from boisterous ones. Once give a little bit of time, she will be a great roommate. :) $125 adoption. This nice girl was abandoned with her baby Dottie here at the shelter in June. She was a little shy at first, but has warmed up to the staff more as she has been with us. She gets along very well with the cat she is housed with who also has nursing kittens. We believe Dolly is about 1 to 2 years old. She does use her litterbox well and we have given her the vaccinations she needs and she will be microchipped and spayed before going to her new home. $125.00 adoption. Darcy is a wonderful, chatty cat. She was abandoned at our shelter in June with 2 newborn babies. She was an excellent mom and she let us handle her babies with no issues at all. She was pretty quiet when she arrived, but is now comfortable with her surroundings and enjoys the company of people. She will make a great pet for someone and seems to very good with other cats as well.
