Story

Hi everyone, meet Tama! She was given to me by a co-worker 2-3 years back after finding her and the rest of her litter in a box on the sidewalk covered in filth and fleas. Despite her rough start, Tama is a playful and docile couch potato. She's never been aggressive or mean. She allows us to bathe her, brush her, trim her nails, and brush her teeth without much of a fight although she doesn't like the process. She is timid of the carrier and at the vet she's been known to pee out of nervousness. She's in good health despite being overweight. Efforts to put her on a diet haven't been successful on account she will steal her sibling's food. She loves the laser toy and the Churu treats. If her litter box is not up to her standards, she will go potty right next to the litter box as her form of protest. She will also follow you through the house and meow if she wants more food or water. She enjoys laying on the floor flat as opposed to her comfy bed at times.

Hi everyone, this is Birdie, she is a very loving 5 year old calico who’s available for rehoming/adoption. Birdie is an excellent cuddle buddy and will happily hop up onto your lap if you’re sitting/laying on the couch. She also will definitely try to pop a squat on your lap while you’re working at your desk. She loves to be pet, meeting new people, and sunny patches on the carpet. She is a prolific hunter of all kinds of bugs so don’t be surprised if you see her catch a fly mid air one day. Her favorite things are wet food, hanging out on the balcony, fresh cold filtered water, and hair ties. The only thing with Birdie is that she must be the only cat in a home. She does not get along well with other cats and she has had issues in the past with bullying other cats. Birdie loves humans but, to put it simply, hates other cats with a passion. Besides being beautiful, with her unique and striking face markings, Posey is such a sweetheart. She is about five months old. She was rescued from an alley in South L.A. with her siblings and momma, and now is a well-adjusted and happy indoor cat. She is very smart and enjoys watching mice and fish videos. She is bonded with her brother Parker, and ideally they should be adopted together. They will keep you entertained all day with their antics. They love playing with toys, wrestling, and snuggling (with each other and with their humans).

Cleo and her siblings were dropped on our doorstep, in a cardboard box, as tiny babies. Her brothers were adopted as kittens, but Cleo and her sister (Celeste) struggled to adjust to the busy environment of our rescue, and became nervous around people. They have now been with us for 9 years, and we would love for someone to give these two a chance. Cleo is a sweetie, but she will need some patience and work to let her guard down and be comfortable. She comes out, when she’s ready, and meows at the staff. She is okay being petted, but needs you to go slow. She is part of a bonded pair with her sister, and they will need a quiet household with no dogs or children. Cleo is a gorgeous girl, very gentle, and so worthy of a home to call her own. Meet Luna, She’s 8yrs old & has no time for tBS of the world but her resting Btch-face has all the time to listen to your worries & your woes & she’ll side with you in an instant. She gazes out the windows/doors, isn’t amused by fireworks or rambunctious children & loves stealing the heat from your lap if you’re stationary. She truly wants to be the only animal in your house but she’s also ok if you have an elderly animal who leaves her alone. She enjoys head/chin scratches & back strokes & is real picky about the butt scratches. I’m in preparations to move New Orleans after the 1st of the year & I plan on living a very OUT LOUD life which is just not suitable for her personality nor is it fair to make her travel such a long distance, she is an 8yr old Queen & really enjoys a quiet lifestyle. I am also not the same person I was when I got her so I no longer feel suitable to meet her loving needs. She’s Fixed, she weighs about 6lbs & lives to eat wet food.
