They are very bonded to one another and would love to go to a home together, but if that's not possible they would be able to go separately. They are both friendly and social, and have a sweet and calm demeanor. They like to be held and love to purr. They are good with other cats, great with children, and have been around small dogs. They were strays in the neighborhood, and were rescued when they were both pregnant. They raised their kittens together, and they have all found homes. Hello my name is Velvet! Black Velvet! And just like velvet I am smooth and soft and comforting. I purr the minute you run your hand along the softness of my fur. But when I play, look out! I play like no one's watching! As soon as that fishing pole with the funny bird that doesn't fly very well comes out I catch that bird and run with it! And when I'm done, I'm smooth and soft as Velvet again. I will comfort you and keep you warm in the cold winter months. Just try me, I'll be your lap cat if you only ask my foster mom! Tell her how great you'll be and how much you want me and I will make you happy. I promise!

What would the humans say about me? Well, first of all, just look at my face! I think they'd say, isn't she a pretty kitty? Doesn't she look just like a Picasso painting? I think that's why they named me Picassa. I don't know even know what a Picasso painting is, but the way they say that, I just know it's something good! What they forget is that I'm not just a pretty face! I'm pretty all over! I was born that way but in a not so good place. I could have been eaten by coyotes or run over by a car before they brought me here to a place called foster care. Here I don't have to hide in bushes and get to lay on soft cushions and eat yummy food! But like a princess in a tower, I'm looking out at the world from only one room. I like being inside but if I'm to keep my girlish figure I'm going to need more room to exercise! I don't do zoomies anymore as that's just for babies, but I still like to watch birds from a window and catch that bird at the end of a stick, and I'm really, really good at that! Want to see? I could show you but first you'll have to ask my foster mom if you could have me. If you tell her how great my life with you could be, I'm sure she could be convinced. Would you please? If you don`t like trimming nails then I`m not the guy for you because I have extra toes on my front feet. Yep, I`m a polydactyl cat. That`s why my feet look a little silly, but it makes it easier to may kitty biscuits when I`m sitting on your lap. I`m a chill guy and like to hang out with people and sleep, be petted eat and repeat. I love all my friends here, but really miss having a home of my own. HOME TO HOME PROGRAM CONTACT: Samantha at samijames0@gmail.com Meet Milo, he is a 7 year old, 9 lb, neutered male that is very sweet and playful. His owner has had him since he was a kitten when he was rescued from a gopher hole at 5 weeks old. His favorite pastimes are finding a warm spot in the sun to take a nap, sleeping at the foot of the bed, and playing with string toys that he can “hunt”. Not much of a cat to pick up and carry around, but he will snuggle up next to you and purr once he gets in a warm spot. Milo is definitely not one of those cats that hides all day long; he likes to be in the same room as his people and is quite social. Fully litter box trained and a tidy cat in general, he’s great at grooming himself, and allows his nails to be clipped with no fuss. Ideally he would like a home where he could be indoors mostly, but have the option to go outside to roll around in the sun and explore. He is good with other cats and children of all ages. Due to recent circumstances his owner is unable to give him the space, time and attention he deserves. She believes he would do better in a different environment where his people are around more, and where he could expand on his cat-ness.
