NALA Nala IS LOVELY!! She is friendly, affectionate and gentle cat who is people oriented and loves to snuggle in her bed or a nice sunny spot by the window. She is quiet, independent, a perfect lounge kitty who adores a gentle pat, a warm, cozy bed and endless food bowl! Nala is looking for a home that will appreciate her sweetness and shower her with love & food! She is an intelligent cat, aware of her surroundings, and keeps herself entertained when alone. She gets a little spunky at times and likes to bat around a few toys. She does not like to be picked up but LOVES being pet & given chin & head scratches. Nala is looking for a quiet home and would prefer to be the only cat in the household as she gets annoyed by playful kittens but seems to be okay with older cats that mind their own business. Nala was found wandering the streets during a heavy rain storm. She was skin & bones and her fur was completely matted. Her collar was hanging very loosely from her neck. NALA IS FULLY VETTED & IN GREAT HEALTH!!! She is NEGATIVE for FeLV, FIV (Aids, Leukemia) & heartworms. The vet estimated Nala to be about 8-10 years old. Nala had a hernia that was repaired during her spay surgery. This poor girl had never been fixed and has most likely had over 10+ litters of kittens. Very upsetting to think no one cared enough for this sweetheart to get her fixed. Nala has been a very happy, well cared for kitty since coming to rescue. NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. HI everyone, we would like to introduce you to Dolly. Born on April 11th 2024 to Momma Janet, Dolly is one of 5 kittens from the litter. Dolly is already fixed, up to date on all shots and eating Purina One Kibble with the occasional can of Purina One Soft Food mixed in. Dolly is extremely affectionate and loves attention, but is also not afraid to play alone with one of her favorite toys. We often find her on the windowsill watching birds outside but have also found her putting one of her litter mates in a headlock, sooooo, yeah she is playful too! All the kittens from Dollys Litter are extremely socialized, are comfortable in arms and with affection, and in fact will seek you out for rubs and cuddles. Once they adjust I am sure they will be a welcomed and loving addition to any household. JASMIN Look at those mesmerizing EMERALD EYES!!! WOW!!!! Our precious, petite 2 year old is one extremely gentle, quiet and loving kitty that will be shy at first. She likes to lay right next to you on the couch and get pets and attention. She makes a cool mohawk with the fur on her back when getting loves. She likes to bump against your hand and basically anything that is distracting you from her. She is a couch buddy that is usually belly up. Jasmin gets along fabulously with other cats and is not aggressive by any means. She is so gentle with all of the foster kitties and actually teaches them how to socialize. PRINCESS This little senior lady has an attitude of an Aristocrat hence given her name "Princess". She showed up outside about 10 years ago completely afraid but fixed/spayed.
